Yes, that seam can be a problem. I attach the rear halves separately to the fuselage halves instead of following the kit instructions. That way you can line it up better. 1 1

Such a easy kit to build makes that possible. Right now I've completed the painting and am applying the decals. Ought to have it finished by Monday. 😉 2
