Finished with this one. 31st FG a/c flown by Tommy Molland. As always, Tamiya kits are a pleasure to build. After market items are Barracudacast resin wheels and seat plus some other cockpit details. Painted with Xtracolor and MM. Decals are by Victory Productions and my decal stash. As always, click on the 1st photo for best resolution and to view as a slide show. I hope you like it. :)

I had barely noticed that you had started a Spit, and now it’s already finished, and very nice at that !

Congrats, John, for another great build.

I need to make sure I read every comment as I did miss your post that the Spit was completed and the final images in the Aircraft finished forum.

A masters touch - fit and finish is perfect. Gorgeous work. 🏆

Keep 'em comin

SO you do know how to build something other than a Corsair...lol.  Great looking Spit. John. I'm working on a Tamiya Mk. IXc in the same paint scheme, but British, I hope it turns out as nice.

Thanks Ron! Those Tamiya Spits are really nice kits and enjoyable to build. I look forward to seeing your completed Mk IX. :)
