DocRob Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Looking forward to your progress Phil. a 32 scale Lysander would be very welcome though and I don't mean the Matchbox one. Cheers Rob 3
Bomber_County Posted January 30, 2022 Author Posted January 30, 2022 Rob, totalling agree with 32nd not Matchbox Lizzie…….just wish I had more time……the dilemma now is either get back to the Wildcat or start something new. With only having a very small stash it doesn’t take long to decide….. 3
Peterpools Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Phil Nice progress on the Old gal .. she is going to be a stunner. Keep 'em comin Peter 2

Peterpools Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Phil Just trying to keep up with so little free time while all the work is going on in the house. Nice work on the Lysander's interior - looking mighty good Keep 'em comin Peter 2
GazzaS Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 The interior looks very nice, Phil! Those Brits sure liked their tube construction. 3
DocRob Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 That's a very nice looking interior, Phil. Detailing of the IP with the cables on looks especially good. Cheers Rob 3

kahunaminor Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Nice work on the cockpit components Phil, I like the additional wiring in the front/back of the IP. Regards, Kent 3
Bomber_County Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 Thanks Kent, for an old mould and very few locating pins I reckon it’s gone together so far quite well. Just wish someone would do a 32nd….. 4

Bomber_County Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Getting close now to booth time. Question is fit the wing before or after…….. 6
DocRob Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Nice work on that beautifugly plane Phil, the design is - err - lets say unique , but I like the shape of the Lysander and the work yo put into yours. About the wings, I would say, a lot depends on the scheme you chose. The wing struts are maybe more in the way, than the wing itself. Cheers Rob 3
Bomber_County Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Thanks Rob, I’m going to do the SOE scheme so black beneath. It’s more the glazing, never like adding it in case paint creeps in……decision time I guess… 1
HubertB Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Petter dure had a unique propensity for original designs : the Lysander, the EE Lightning, the Folland Gnat … Very nice work Phil. This one looks better than venerable 1/32 Matchbox one, which I have in the stash (would you believe it 🙄 ?), but can’t find the resolve to properly deal with … Hubert 2

GazzaS Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 It's fugly... but keep up the good work! I would treat it like a WWI model. Dry fit. Paint. Assemble. Pray-it-looks-ok. 2
