NigelR32 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Oh Thank you so much for putting this build online!! One really can't follow too many B-25 builds.
Administrators James H Posted January 13, 2014 Administrators Posted January 13, 2014 Absolutely blown away. I absolutely love that interior detail and extra plumbing. You've got the camera so close it's like being inside the airplane!
CruZz Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Thanks for the welcome guys! Another 2 hours free time today. for now it´s four days (afternoon) of work... it goes very quickly... :-) 4
Administrators James H Posted January 13, 2014 Administrators Posted January 13, 2014 Amazing work. What references are you using for that internal work? I might chance my arm at one of these sometime.
JonathanReed Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 That is looking MIGHTY fine..yes indeed...mighty fine
Paulster Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Looks like the pile of stuff I have for my F-105G.
rkranias Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 to say "epic" evolving is an understatement. your PE & scratch skills are well noted and inspirational. you have been tagged!
CruZz Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Thanks again guys! James: I found many photos on google..... today only hour on bombay... PE parts on their places... now will comes some wires... 4
Grant Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 This is astonishing !! What an amazing project! OK, budge up on the sofa, make way for a small one, I want to watch this....
NigelR32 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Hey Cruzz, this really is impressive stuff going on here!! I am a little confused, as you have added the colour PE before painting? I've never seen this done before and am wondering how you intend to paint the cockpit and leave the colour parts exposed? It's a technique I would like to try.
Silver Dollar Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Wow, those PE parts really add a ton of detail. That's great work on the ribbing. I'll want to follow this carefully when I get to my own B-25.
CruZz Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Thank you gents! Hey Cruzz, this really is impressive stuff going on here!!I am a little confused, as you have added the colour PE before painting? I've never seen this done before and am wondering how you intend to paint the cockpit and leave the colour parts exposed? It's a technique I would like to try. I want to mask some of tmem with tamiya tape and mascol (parts with some text, dial)... some of them will be repainted with valejo color. The main reason is, that I am not so skilled and I don´t want to have cockpit dirty by glue... :-) 1
Administrators James H Posted January 15, 2014 Administrators Posted January 15, 2014 That is outstanding. Did you find the Eduard sets a good fit generally?
CruZz Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks! That is outstanding. Did you find the Eduard sets a good fit generally? Yes, This eduard sets are really usefull. In this case I maybe use around 80% of all parts.... usually use only about 50-60% And fitting of parts is mostly perfect.
CruZz Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thank you Mark! Today only few wires and PE parts... 1
Silver Dollar Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Man, that's a lot of brass, but you can't beat the way it looks.
