Went back to my traditional Badgers and Iwatas. Geez, what a letdown. Thanks for the info

BlrwestSiR
The only pistol grip airbrush I have is a Procon Boy one. It has a fan tip so I use it to cover larger areas. For that it works quite well.
Lusitanian
Mailman delivered the new Sword 1/48 Gannet AEW.3 kit this week. Pretty much the dictionary definition of “obscure”, and it’s beyond ugly, but in a very British way. Have to come up with markings for the bird that’s at Pima when she was in service.

I remember standing under the wing of a Gannet in a museum visit. I was shocked by the thickness of the wing. Talk about the aerodynamism of a barn door 🤣😂😂 Hubert 3

Peterpools
PW Thanks for posting the video - super interesting and informative. And she is one big, ungainly bird but to a pilot, she has a charm all of her own.

Mine's a bit of a tank though as it's all metal.

Lusitanian
Just got a HUGE order of ATOM acrylic paint from Mig Jimenez. I only brought a little bit of Tamiya (mostly my own custom mixes) with me from the US, so I needed a total restock on everything. Everything I’ve read about them is fantastic, so I hope they’re right! Still waiting for my household goods shipment to arrive from the US so I can get my workbench set up. I found a local welding gas supply that can hook me up with CO2 (I’d never use a compressor again!).

I'm not in Quinta do Anjo anymore (it was near Palmela on the Setubal Peninsula). I now live In Santo Estevao, 40 km south of Santarem, in an area called "Ribatejo". It's about 1 h 20 from your place. As you live near Tomar, bookmark the "Festa dos Tabuleiros" in 2027. Unique and absolutely a Must See. DocRob
While my shipments from Japan are still somewhere on the planet, I received a packet from Germany. I got the Meng 1/24 McLaren Mp4/4 from Meng. There is all you need in the kit, besides the tobacco sponsor decals, which are on the way from Spain. The kit includes metal stickers for the mirrors and carbon decals for the monocoque, beside the usual plastic, which looks actually very good. 1/20 will not become my favorite scale for F1 cars, the kit body looks astonishingly small in the box. I couldn´t get the huge Ironclad and went with the frigate instead. It´s my first Warhammer kit and it will be all about painting. There are only two sprues, but the parts are well detailed. BlrwestSiR
I was getting some items for my son off Amazon and saw this Godzilla figure so I had to get one. This is the most recent Godzilla as seen in Minus One.
