Recent items.....

     first, from Tamiya, their newest release. Their 🇫🇷 French Light Tank H39 /Pz.kpfw 38H 735 F (35389) in 1/35.

Looks like a nice, but tiny kit. You may remember I recently got some decals for Israeli versions of this tank.

Like everyone, I'm not sure how to paint the Israeli version. The tank in the Lantrun museum in Israel is sand color

and may be incorrect. Some say these tanks as used by Israel in '48 may have been greenish.

I also got a set of Friulmodel tracks for the Hotchkiss H39 (ATL-68) in 1/35

I got some more lengths of hard stainless wire....this time in .3 mm thickness. From Amazon.

I also reordered some instrument decals WWII USAAF from Airscale in 1/32.

Some items...

From  Hasegawa, their 1/32 Nakajima Ki 44-2 Hei SHOKI (Tojo) (08880) St30.

From  AOSHIMA, their 1/12 MOTOCOMPO AB12 '81(06290) I remember that these

Were meant to carried in your car ( Honda City) in the early 1980's. A strangely Japanese Idea. The little scooter folded

up to achieve this, but weighing about 100 lbs., I wouldn't want to lift this into a car. Anyway, thought the model might

be built to display with an "Egg Girl".

From HIQ Parts,  six sets of circle masks. I thought these might be useful for masking instrument dials, perhaps, or

Other uses, we'll see.

From Tamiya, a set of HG TWEEZER GRIP SCISSORS (74157**2100)

An interesting new tool for me.

Last, also from Hasegawa, another " Egg Girl".

Yes, hilarious about the robots😀  If you think about it, what else? I don't think Trumpeter wants to offend western customers by suggesting

a west/east conflict. Anyway I noticed and mentioned that a while back to a family member and we had a chuckle....... Imagine a possible diorama demonstrating

A robot insurrection involving those Gundam robot things........well 'nuff said😀

Paul, I have the same sets of masks. They work great for masking IP dials like you said. If you're careful, you can even re-use them a couple times.

For dials that have a different coloured ring, put the circle on the dial face, then go up a size and put the square part around the outside of the dial.

Circle masks are indeed very important, I have a Maketar set since years and I use them regularly for different tasks. For larger diameters a circle cutter is ok, but for the smaller ones, I prefer ready cut masks.

This beauty arrived at my doorstep today, a little bit early for my 60th birthday due to the super fast shipping from Japan. Fun fact, the kit included a pin, claiming that MFH is exactly half as old as me,
My self present is an Aston Martin DB4 GTZ in 1/12 scale, where Z stands for Zagato, who did the bodywork on this beauty.

I borrowed a picture of the finished kit from the MFH homepage, because the box doesn´t show the DB4 GTZ

I believe they're releasing the 1/24 City as well, but I think it's the turbo version without the compo.

The driver seems to be the same, riding my Tamiya Wild Willy RC-car, when I was a teenager.

Cheers Rob
