Whether you are a Train modeler or not ,one feels for these guys and gals who worked so hard ....There are some very jealous and nasty folks..VANDALS....Out There..

Did they have to do this  to someone else's pride and joy and lots of hard work.

This is only around 20 miles from me so local as you can get. The scum bags need more than parental control, I’d bet stop there.......look up Rod Stewart’s layout it’s amazing. The only trouble is all the money in the world will not redo years of craftsmanship that shaped the layout in the first place........

this is where parental slap comes very handy.

Sir Rod Stewart is a world class model railroader and a Master Modeler who could go up against the best work any of us here are capable of producing.

He builds ALL his own models, every single one of them.

The people who did this need to be found, boiled in oil, and then drawn, quartered, and then used as chum.

That is many hundreds of thousands of ££££ damage there.

Kind of begs the question...........................................................     WHY?  To What end, would someone even THINK of doing this ?

The only reason I can think of is "Because they can".  I had someone key the side of my 55 Crown Victoria one day. No reason for it, it was just parked at a grocery store and someone decided that it made sense at the time.

I guess some people just get a thrill out of destroying other people's hard work.

AND with all the bleeding hearts and 'do gooders' out there they KNOW there is NO penalty or punishment for their actions................ as then there would be a litany of 'protesters' standing up for these low life's and then when some sort of punishment IS handed down they cry 'VICTIM"...................................... trying my HARDEST to be nice here, and not go off like I want to, because I really don't want to get banned form this site, BUT suffice to say.............. I have a definite opinion on this subject.......... I better stop ...........................................

Many years ago I was a manager at a grocery store and had decided to bring in a couple of kits to show my boss what the hobby was all about.

Later that night as I was locking up and leaving the store, myself and the other office worker were confronted 1/2 way out the door by (2) kids with shot guns.

I still had the models in hand and slowly walked backwards as they directed me to and gently placed the kits on the floor of the store.

As the robbery unfolded the cashier was tied up on the floor while I was trying to get the safe open shotgun tightly to my head,

After the robber got the cash out of the safe he then tied me up on the floor face down, I could see under the door that other kid,who was standing look out, was looking at my models I had brought in!

The office robber took a step over me and I thought he was going to shoot both of us, but he didn't and the look out did not damage my kits at all.

This story has nothing to do with the vandalism of the poor train guys but an example of the garbage that's out there.

I will never forget the barrel to my head, I'm lucky to be alive.

Yeah it was something.

I had to convince the robber to let me call the boss because I couldn't get the trick safe tumbler to catch.

He (robber) agreed and listened to the phone conversation as I was trying to convince my boss I had left my car keys in the safe and had to get it open!

When the manager answered the phone and took in my story, he asked "Are you getting robbed?".....the robber then pressed shot gun tighter as I nervously said "nope just forgot my keys!"

If I caught them... MY Monadnock extendable baton would HAVE accidently purposefully connected with their thieving hands and wrists.

Yes Your Honour   I was just about to take a defensive stance when the Baton extended itself SO quickly  I had no control over it... BUT I ARRESTED THE THIEVING SCUMBAGS Your honour!

Thank you.

There are people among us with sociopathic tendencies, lacking empathy and understanding for the value of creation,  they never created anything. Perhaps, they need to build something and then destroy it by themselves in order to get it.
