As this has be my first mini WIP, here is the completed project. Basically OOB build but with the Breda mounted on the rear deck.

Rummaged through the spares box for drums etc and added PE sand channels. The radio masts were substituted with brass rod.

Enjoyed this one hope you do to.........

Phil,

What an awesome job you've done.  The weathering is great...  very realistic and not overblown.   The added stowage and the little things like chains to hold the tailgate enrich the model significantly.

Bravo!

That looks fantastic Phil ! I like your style and out of the box approach to this conversion. I actually picked up this kit recently and it was packed together with Breda as well. Some kind of special edition.

Thanks for sharing

Cheers

M.

Phantastic result, Phil! That’s exactly the look I like. Used, but not abused.

It looks like a gun buggy should look. Not like it’s been ditched and rolled before landing back on its wheels.

Wow Phil, some days of absence and I nearly missed your finishing that beauty. I love your way of painting and subtly weathering the Chevy. Everything looks good and 'busy' in other words, just right.

Cheers Rob

Phil, I may need some tips on realistic vehicle weathering. I’m passable with aircraft, but vehicles either end up looking showroom new, or ready for the trash heap.
