We have aircraft manufacturers all around, everyone knows someone working at Lockheed Martin, LTV (previous), Convair (previous) NAA (previous), Mooney, Bell Helicopter, you name it. How on EARTH do you miss seeing an airplane? I've driven that road, and roads like it often enough, and believe me, you're VERY aware you're on airport land. There are much better warning signs up at all airports now, and if you must cross the threshold of a runway, you're well aware of that fact. If that 172 had been a Chieftain or a 421, the automobile driver would have been DOA.

Hey, CC, yes, that's why I did this last night, to avoid blowing up his build thread. They're going to try to move all of the really decent tweaks pics and conversations you guys were having to this thread, and use this as the new spot to post that. I think, given a few builds. we can accumulate a gold mine of tweaks, ideas, and work arounds.

Agreed. I’m not a huge fan of video reviews, but when someone puts time, effort, and does a thoughtful and fact filled unbiased review, I like them. Nige’s Lanc review was top notch. Had to watch it on TOS though. Couldn’t find it on the YouTube channel. Subscribed

I thought I’d start this up here where we can all discuss a model I have serious interest in, the HB B-24. I was looking at Iain’s possible fix over on the other site, and it looks seriously promising as a fix for the wing. Nigel and a couple others have been contributing there as well, and Im certainly feeling better about a fix for the wing. This is definitely a kit I’ll be building, so I’m following these discussions with intense interest.

You know what I’m thinking? I think we’re blowing up a good man’s build thread with tweak talk. We should maybe start a thread for that up in LSM discussion..... Edit: started one up top in modeling discussion

This is good. Gunze Mr. Color has been my go to choice. Mr. Paint, (MRP) is nice, but tough to get. With ModelMaster winding down, it's going to be nice to have choices if Gunze suddenly becomes unavailable. I'm just not really a fan of the Tamiya formulation they sell us in this Country. It seems different than Europe's Tamiya. I don't remember German Tamiya being as cantankerous...

I just loved these things. They sparked a serious passion in me that still glows. There's so much untapped power in that engine that it just blows the mind. The Wankel, to me, on paper, is the perfect engine, at least for smaller applications. Done right, electric smooth power.
