Yes, definitely some kind of misprint there. In my Amazon order history I paid $ 12.95 On the Micro mark website they have one for about $19.00. If I remember correctly, having ordered one of theirs years ago, it is smaller than the one in my link.

Yes, I'm a big fan of 1/16 kits! In my stash I have a lot of them: including those from Takom, Trumpeter, Classy Hobby, and Das Werk. I'm kind of stalled on a big Trumpeter T-72b. It needs only masking of the side skirts for final painting and assembly. It's been dormant for months; but I'll finish it sometime.

That tank is huge! Is that the Meng kit that is dwarfed by your model!

No, I only paid about $12.00 for mine definitely not that much! Here's a link: https://pmcsupplies.com/4-1-2-15a-cutting-tweezers-plastic-sprue-and-copper-wire-cutters.hh At this price, I just ordered another one.

Very nice!

Thanks I'll have a look at those. I use the Tamiya cutters and this nipper I found on Amazon, works great on small parts. Yes, pricey but worth it. I just ordered their center locator for the circle cutter. I had A hard time finding this online as most were sold out. I found one for $ 12.00 U.S.. One website listed this for $ 47.00 ! I'll have a look at their cutters.

Yes, I agree about the weathering. If I were to make this model again I would weather the track links prior to assembly then, carefully, glue the links together using a different cement. The Tamiya extra thin dissolved the little pins meant to hold the tracks together making Assembly difficult. The tracks when clicked together without cement would break apart with very little movement.

Not sure what's going wrong there. I simply use the ad files feature when replying, after which my kindle tablet asks where your files are located and click on the desired file.

Is this the video? Pretty Cool!

Thanks. I really would like to see that 1/16 Char of yours!

Thanks. The color coded cutters are for the angles of the cutter blades apparently, the blue for the thinnest materials, the red the thickest. That center finder is on my next purchase list!

Got this today; A circle cutter from DSPIAE and I must say I'm impressed with its quality! Unlike what I had seen in the reviews, I'm happy to say that mine came mostly assembled; requiring only placing the rubber pads on the bottom and screwing in the cutter holder. The instructions, however, are lacking; they don't explain what thicknesses the three color-coded cutters should be used for. I'm sure that can easily be figured out. The tool is a bit pricey, but once you get this thing in your hands, you'll understand why. It's built like a tank and the cutter turns on a precision bearing. Most Impressive!. I haven't used it yet, but look forward to cutting masks for the many wheels on those tank projects. This tool is said to have a range from 1 mm to 50 mm circles.

Thanks, I enjoyed building it. I might build the Tamiya 1937 version as well.

I finished this little... And I mean little ..BT-7 1935 from Tamiya a little while back. Like I said, the kit builds up to a diminutive model but its a great kit. I kind of rushed through it but I think it turned out OK. I like these early Soviet tanks. I see Hobby Boss has a great selection of early Soviet Tanks.

At one time I owned a type 14 Nambu. I liked it and hand loaded the 8mm cartridge using Midway brass. It performed beautifully.

Looking great! I'm a big fan of the '86. There is a f86 that flies often out the Waukegan airport and participates in Waukegan's annual air show. I'm fortunate to see this aircraft flying low over Beach Park where my mother lives close to this airport. It's an awesome sight! -

Seriously? I think your your model looks great! That Wessex is way beyond in comparison That the average modeler, or Super skilled modeler can achieve! ...I mean, that build is spooky in its excellence! How can you possibly be ashamed! Your work Is great!. I'd love to build a big Huey by the way. I know Hobby Boss has that big 1/18 Huey, but I'm still hoping for that big 1/18 Brewster Buffalo. One can hope....I mean won't they release that soon? -
Looking forward to your build. I remember myself considering wether or not to purchase this kit back a time ago, fearing I didn't have the skill. This was a beautiful aircraft. A promising technology but apparently a dead end as it was never put into production. Too bad as beauty and elegance have their own merits.

I've been working on this; A Takom Skoda 30.5 M1916 Howitzer. An interesting kit, the most frustrating part is the little knobby things on the barrel assembly. They were very difficult to glue on, not to mention separating from the sprue. I used a grease pencil or China marker to pick them up and place them on the model. A couple of them broke off after assembly but, miraculously, I was able to find them and glue them back on! Anyway, here are some pictures of parts of the model in primer coat. -
Ancient kit or not , your Albatross turned out great!

Also looking forward to the build. I've always liked this chubby looking aircraft. -
A rare Sunday delivery brought me these two items; A Copper State Models Canadian armoured MG carrier in 1/35, and a Trumpeter Russian BTR-80A also in 1/35. Both look like great kits. The BTR-80A kit has interior detail.

I wanted to build that kit. Your efforts resulted in a beautiful model. Well done.
