Well, not exactly. I chose this figure as a companion to one of the big Trumpeter T34s I have yet to build. I like his goofy looks.

I've been working on this figure.... A ww2 Soviet tank crew man from trumpeter.

Sounds intense. I looked up possible meanings for my dream regarding my car and the dark, snowy parking lot. One explanation fit; after retiring I had lost my sense of purpose or direction. Anyway, so much for psychobabble. At one time I was prescribed some medication to help me sleep. It had some side effects that I didn't like, such as blurred vision during the day. I did help me sleep, but it made me afraid to drive and I worried that I would not pass my driver's eye test. Anyway, while I was taking this medication I had the wildest dreams; very intense and vivid, never scary, and often hilarious. I told my doctor this and he said it was common occurrence for people prescribed this medication. This medication is often prescribed for people suffering from restless leg syndrome as well.

Since a very dark day one November, all the news in the U.S. has brought me nightmares.

I've had issues with sleeplessness for years. When I was working as a radiologic technologist and CAT scan tech, I was working evening and overnight shifts mainly and taking call so my hours were always screwed up. I had to sleep during the day. On alternate weekends, I'd work the morning shift while taking call at night. It was often exhausting. Now, that I'm retired, I continue to have sleep issues. I average about 4 hours a night; often making up for this during the day with brief naps. When insomnia comes I battle it by reading....I'm always reading anyway. I have a Kindle Oasis with literally hundreds an hundreds of books downloaded on it and it's a comfort on sleepless nights. When I do sleep, I sleep soundly and have magnificent dreams! Bad dreams, well, I have a few reoccurring dreams involving old work issues and frustrations. I have A reoccurring dream involving trying to find my car,on a snowy night, in a large parking lot without much success. I've probably just revealed some embarrassing Freudian issue, but what the hell. Anyway, I wish you luck with your sleep issues.

Working on this.............A big-scale Fieseler FI-103 V-1 flying bomb by Pegasus Hobbies in 1/18 scale. It is huge.A simple kit but it has long seams that require filling and sanding. Very long seams ! I thought it would make a fun project. I've run out of Tamiya surface primer so I'll have to quit for the day.

Finishing up on the big bicycle....... Just need to figure out how I can add a wire for the generator and light. I noticed that the gray appears much lighter in the pictures. It's actually German panzer gray.

Did I ever mention............. that, I hate winter! I dread its coming like most people dread the possibility of a impending rat infestation. I remember being asked; "but don't you think the snow is beautiful?" I replied; " Is slush beautiful? ". A week ago I slid into a fire hydrant. Now, I discovered today that the blower fan on my cars heater has stopped working. Winter is here, oh be joyful!

No! You can Never have too many Phantoms! This was the iconic jet of my childhood but I never finished a Phantom model! Hope to one day, I may do so ,preferably in SEA camouflage. Now, with better airbrushes in my possession, time on my hands, stuff I've learned as A member of this forum, this just may be a possibility. Yes! Everyone build phantoms! By all means, do so. I'll never grow tired of seeing the lovely F4!

I'm not sure what I had, but shortly after Thanksgiving, I experienced chills, claminess, sweats, and abdominal discomfort. I had no fever, in fact my temperature was lower than average , about 97 f. I never got myself tested as it only lasted to 2-3 days. Not sure if It was covid, but I sure was miserable.

Sounds like a interesting variant. I never heard of the comic, but it sounds Like you've done your research. I will be following.

Yet another howitzer. This time from Polish maker IBG Models in 1/35 scale. A Skoda 100 mm. VZ 14/19 as used by the Polish army post WW 1. It looks like a decent kit, and it includes a turned aluminum barrel. This kit will build up Into a tiny model ! A good weekend project, simple, but well-detailed.

Thanks for your fine review. I have seen this kit on the websites I buy from and I was curious about what came in the box. The kit looks very detailed and well-molded. It would be fun to see a build of this kit by a skilled figure painter. Although I'm not the greatest figure builder I might give this one a try!
