  1. Hey, that was a great build! I enjoyed every update. Long live the frog king!
  2. I remember lusting after that 90s' RX7 (the actual car) as a young radiographic technologist in the early 90s'. How I wanted that car! Later, I bought A 1997 Nissan 240sx and developed a long-lasting love affair with that car. I still have it! It has been Wonderful car! Thanks, I know this isn't modeling related, but it brought back Memories.
  3. Impressive work on that M10. That's one heck of a diversion!😀. My diversions usually take the form of wether or not to make a cup of coffee before getting back to work before I ruin the project I'm working on......sad really.
  4. Prior to the Covid mess, Waukegan airport used to host an annual air show. The last Air show they had featured a pair of Skyraiders. They performed mock air attacks that Included pyrotechnics. They flew directly over my mother's home which is in nearby Beach Park, so I was able to get a good view of these impressive aircraft. I'm glad to see You're building a Skyraider. It's one of my favorites ever since Building the Monogram kits years ago.
  5. I see that Meng may be producing a 1/24 scale version of this same subject. Anyone know any more about this?
  6. What do the symbols next to the avatars mean?
  7. Truly impressive work so far. That cockpit looks terrific! Love the added details and scratch built instruments. Nicely done!
  8. I saw these featured on another website and thought some might be interested. Takom will be releasing two 1/350 scale Zeppelin kits. Both WW 1 era. Interesting subjects, I think.
  9. Outstanding work on that lotus!
  10. Great looking build so far and I'll be following your build with interest. The wood grain and fabric are amazing.
  11. Great work! This thread is turning out to be a terrific tutorial on auto model finishing! So much input on this topic from forum members is wonderful. Thanks; Paul
  12. Thanks, now if only I can my psychiatrist to agree! And mother of course!
  13. As you may know I'm moving. I've been confronted about the number of models I now have that are in my stash. I have probably about 20 kits. This has Been regarded as being "Abnormal" by my mother, who says; "Don't you buy another model until you've finished all the models you have". Yes, I'm A grown man (old) ,but, she is still a fountain of advice. Now, I'll come to the Point and ask what the forum regards as "normal" when it comes to stash size. Thanks; Paul.
  14. Thanks, I've come across Takom decals before and had some problems. I was wondering what the strongest solvent around was. By the way; I just had another look at your Commander figure. Looks amazing! I wish I could paint like that!
  15. Looks great! Regarding the Takom decals; which solvent did you try?
  16. Nice work on that engine! Will follow with interest.
  17. Outstanding build! Thanks for sharing.
  18. Nice work so far! Great detail on the engine. I haven't built a truck model in years; it was Monogram's 1/24 1926 Mack bulldog and I was about 16 years old. Your post made me all nostalgic and I'd love to make that kit again! Anyway, it's great to see your truck build here. Thanks for posting, I'll be watching. Paul.
  19. Had my second dose of vaccine on April 22 (Pfizer) I had no problems with it and I'm doing fine. Things are opening up a little bit here. Some businesses are allowing Entry without masks. I hope we are on the way towards normality, but in truth, I think society will never be completely the same.
  20. Nice work. It's a shame about KH as I really liked the looks of their Kingfisher kit. Is there a more buildable P-39 kit in this scale?
  21. I'm really interested in your build and I may, in future, purchase this kit. I like the subject and the size will make a terrific display piece. Meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy following your build. Paul
  22. Well Harv, I just don't know. Probably weeks from now. I'm so frustrated at the Moment as this move seems to have put all my plans asunder. I actually stopped Mid build of a PT 76. I didn't think there would be so many delays. I expected to Be settled-in by now. I can't wait to put the tamiya extra thin to plastic again!
