As a whale; I live by that maxim. Anyway, it's bigger than my last one which was covered with paint and damaged by a lacquer thinner spill. I'm making a fresh start now that I have moved. And a new mat is in order.

Great build so far Rob. I'm enjoying this build of this unique aircraft. -
I will eventually, but right now I need to set up my work space. All my supplies, tools and models are still at another location since the move.I'm going to start moving this stuff this coming weekend. A word about these decals; the markings guide that came with them is very small. I'm going to have to enlarge it just to see what the heck I'm doing. Anyway, regarding the decals that came with the Takom kit.......well, I've had trouble with Takom decals before so I thought I'd use these.

Our fat governor, in our "People's Republic of Illinois", has made mask wearing Mandatory again for everyone including the vaccinated. There are people fired or laid off because they're not vaccinated. There is talk of travel restrictions for the unvaccinated. Oh it's fun! -

I'm looking forward to following this build. I remember seeing this plane in the movie Strategic Air Command with Jimmy Stewart along with the B 47.

Volcano eruption on La Palma, my neighbor island

Sad to hear how people's lives can be so suddenly and drastically be disrupted by events so totally out of their control. My grandmother, on my dad's side, came from the Canary islands. -

Czech Air Force L 29 Delfin 'Tiger Meet', Eduard 1/48
belugawhaleman replied to BradG's topic in Non LSM 'WIP
Forgot to mention that there was a L 29 at last weekend's Waukegan air show along with a couple of L 39s and many more planes including other early jets and ww2 aircraft. While I didn't go to the airs show, I did see the planes fly very low over my mother's house which is near the airport. -
