Bill Right with Kai and glad you have the nose pitot step taken care of. If memory serves me correctly, the Tomcat shouldn't need any nose weight at all. My 48th scale Tamiya Tomcat didn't need any nose weight at all. Keep 'em comin Peter -
John It's always something - glad you have the fuselage together and cleared up the fit issues and now the front windscreen. The helldiver just doesn't want to give in a get with the program. Keep 'em comin Peter

Thanks Carl I'm ordering the locator adapter which should help make the cutter even more accurate and easier to use. Nothing like cool tools. Keep 'em comin Peter

Hi Mark Still drooling over the finish on your Ferrari - it's awesome. Yesterday I clear coated the GT40 and polishing will be tomorrow afternoon after my doctor appointment. If I can come half as close to your deep, mirror shine, I'll be one happy camper for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter -
Finally decided to take the plunge and buy a good circle cutter. Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet but I'm sure as I get close to decals and markings and trying masks for the first time, this baby will come into play. I did find out after reading the instructions and watching a how-to video, it's recommended to also purchase the: DSPIAE MT-CL Stepless Adjustment Circular Cutter LOCATOR. Next purchase coming up. Rob Enjoy and nothing like fast and efficient shipping. Seems like the catch phrase these days: pay more, get less. Keep 'em comin Peter

Thanks Phil, so very much appreciated. This is actually the first airliner kit I've built and thoroughly enjoyed every minute except with the decal issues, I should have looked ahead a bit more and not trusted an unknown decal manufacturer - live and learn. I plan on building a lot more airlines down the road, as they are a ball to do, especially straight out of the box and the color schemes are a knockout. There are a lifetime of decals out there to allow the builder an unlimited selections of carriers and aircraft. For me, I used the Embraer more of a learning tool and will not rely on the decals for the tail portion at all. Painting, I just did it as I would a race car and no issues at all. I have a few 787's in the stash and they will be the next two and even in this scale, they are larger then a 1/32 Tamiya Spit or Mustang. Keep 'em comin Peter

Beautiful work with perfect weathering. Keep 'em comin Peter -
Sad but true and like Martin, I keep notes on who to buy from and who not. I most likely buy 95% of my kits and AM from three vendors, who service and operation are first class and very quick. Thanks for the heads up Keep 'em comin Peter

The postman surely brought you one nice kit. Looking forward to a build thread in the near future. Keep 'em comin Peter

John WOW, the seat and details detail look unreal. No doubt, the seat under your care and watchful eye, will be installed in perfect condition and zero 'cuss factor'. Keep 'em comin Peter

Thanks Kai I'm hoping this weekend to finally do the clear gloss topcoat and then let it thoroughly dry for a good 48 hours. Then early next week, polish, add the few remaining small parts and then I'll be driving her across the line. The last project of our house reno was done on Wednesday - a new High Tech Anderson double hung window for my studio, followed by two days of cleaning and washing, as sawdust gets everywhere no matter how well I covered up everything. But we're done now with our home reno. Turned into quite a project and well over budget - nothing new. Peter -
