  1. Mark Terrific progress and I know the feeling about the canopy - been there and has to be from the 'wet' lacquer clear coats Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. John Absolutely brilliant work and done exactly as I like 'em; perfect paint and finish. I am still stunned at the speed you built the Hasegawa P-40 - just a testament to your modeling skills. Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Kai Holy Smokes - that should have been in the instructions ! Keep 'em coming Peter
  4. I have quick release fittings on all my air brushes as it makes life so much easier and switching from air brush to air brush is a snap. My collection of AB includse and when I purchased each AB, I also purchased the dedicated quick release. Highly recommended.: Two H&S Infinity CR Plus AB's An Iwata Eclipse and Revolution Grex XGi With the quick disconnects, I can switch between air brushes as needed, especially when I'm lazy and don't feel like cleaning them out between different paint mediums during painting sessions. Keep 'em comin Peter.
  5. Phil Now that's interesting for sure and I'll need to do some research. Keep 'em comin Peter
  6. Harv Did a bit of checking and the Beaufighter was of metal construction. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. John I've gently sanding the spar down until the outer wing panels fit in place and thanks for the tip on using Vaseline - I'm sure it will come in mighty handy. Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Carl Glad to know I have lots of company and having done it twice now, I do feel a lot better. Completely agree, leaving the gear off until after paint is the right and safest way way to go. You Corsair is looking mighty good and hopefully you'll be back to finishing her soon. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Mark That's some schedule and just glad modeling offers you a creative way of relaxing and regrouping the troops. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Rob WOW, looking simply fantastic. The very light mottling effect you are achieving has 'weathering' written all over it. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Looking at the test model - not CAD drawings, it does look good but only time will tell. Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Rob Feel the same, just never had the desire to go the Revell route. It's true as the link on Britmodeler has photographs of the actual kit under way. Just more good news. Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Much appreciated Mark And I do love those Tamiya kits. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Thanks Gaz and you're 100% correct. The newer 32nd scale Tamiya kits are far from shake and bake but they do excel in part fit, instructions and details - unfortunately it's still not hard to error and I can testify to that again just the other day. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. Rob So very well said and how true Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Right with gaz and Kai - beautiful work Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Mark Decaling; perfectly done and you're surely on the home stretch. How do you find the time and energy to work on both the Mirage and Viggen simultaneously and your work is flawless? Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Holy Smokes Batman, Saw this link to Britmodeler about Infinity Models upcoming Beaufighter in 32nd scale. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235100256-132-beaufighter-by-infinity-models/ Awesome news for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter

  23. Much appreciate Rob. Slow but steady progress and no doubt, following Papa Tamiya instructions is a must and even double checking before gluing is surely recommended. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Thanks Phil, much appreciated. Still a bit away from the paint booth as the filler work needs to be done and some small parts added and then, it's painting time. Keep 'em comin Peter
