Phil Been there more times then I like to admit and leave the P-51 for another day when the juices call. Glad to see you're underway with the Junkers. Keep 'em comin Peter -

Excellent progress on your FW190. From my end the decals and weathering look very good and I can't see any silvering. Keep 'em comin Peter -
Mark Nice going and looks very interesting Keep 'em comin Peter

Been waiting decades for a BOB Spit Mk1a that hopefully will have Tamiya like detailing and quality. If their decision would have been a much later version, I wouldn't have any of the interest as I do now. Keep 'em comin Peter

Harv Nice progress and the cuts are looking rock solid Keep 'em comin Peter

Rob Now that's masking for sure. I've done so much masking on the F4 I just finished and only a few hours on the Tempest so far and I have to agree, masking is becoming a all encompassing time absorbing portion of every build these days. Looking mighty good Keep 'em comin Peter

We'll need to hear from John and my money is on maybe six or more over the next few years. Keep 'em comin Peter

I'm not promising myself to buy just one 'cause that isn't going to happen ... it's just a case of how many. I've built three Tamiya Mustangs, two Spits, one Corsair with one in the stash and my prized Mossie. Looks like the Spits are going to take the lead Keep 'em comin Peter

John Way to go and I'll be following all the way I'm sure I'll get the bug to either finish my horrible P-39 or buy a SK kit and build it this winter. Keep 'em comin Peter

Ernie Thanks for the heads up! I'm dancing on air - a true to goodness BOB Spitfire Mk.1a. I couldn't have asked for more Keep 'em comin Peter

Mark I'm pretty sure they are and on their web site: The range of specially formulated lacquer based paints optimised for airbrushing. I've used them in the past and do add few drops of Self leveling Thinner but I do the same with MRP paints as well. So, I would have to say, they are good to go straight from the bottle. Gus Right with Kai, Hubert and Rob ... just a spectacular build. Keep 'em comin Peter -
Rob Looking forward to your next update. Yes, you are correct, some of the new Tamiya car kits have lazer cut masks but none of the aircraft kits yet, as far as I know. Keep 'em comin Peter

Peterpools replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Hi Phil Much appreciated and you're right on the money - PE is tiny and finicky but it's on and I doubt much will be seen on the completed model. Keep 'em comin Peter -

Peterpools replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Thanks Kai It's a kit that seems to draw the builder to the bench and keep him there. Not a perfect kit and not Tamiya in part fit but right up there for sure. Working on the HGW seatbelts, the IP is now done and I should be ready to start closing up the fuselage in a few days. Keep 'em comin Peter -
