  1. Harv Nice start and just take your time, as part clean up isn't the most fun part of a build. Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. Ernie Nice progress on your Buffalo and I can see some color modulation on the ailerons and some on the fuselage and wing panels as well. I'm not a big weathering guy and don't knock yourself out trying to over do it, as less is more. Looking mighty good Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Carl Nice work on working out a plan to deal with the fit issues and then carried it out perfectly. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Mark Neat, clean and meticulous work. Along with both Kai and Carl, only adding 38 rivets must seem like a walk in the park. Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. I'm gathering the same but it's going to a ton of fun and about the same number of builds going on in various forums. I'm willing to bet, Jetmads never expected sales to be like this. I just followed Maru's link to LSP and some pics of the kit: OMG ... looks fantastic. Keep 'em comin Peter
  6. Thanks Maru for the link. My kit is ordered along with a set of DN Masks. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. Bill Happy Birthday - even if I'm a day late Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Carl Mr Bond would surely be happy as the two kits underway on your bench Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Ordered the DN mask set and also the HPH Two Pack Resin Epoxy (thanks Hubert). I purchased two sets of the resin epoxy as I'm hoping to buy the Ouregon, Phantom and the B-47( 1/48 scale which has me doing cartwheels) when they become available. Looks like 1/32 scale is exploding and then there are the SB Phantoms - there goes my modeling money for a long while. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Holy Smokes - outstanding work and meticulously done. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Thanks Kai You're so right, as I worked through applying the decals to all the missiles in a production style. First I decaled the four Sparrows applying the same number decal to each Sparrow, then the next decal to all four and so on. Then onto the Sidewinders, where I repeated the same process. Lastly the drop tank which seemed way too easy. I'm not planning on doing an update when the semi gloss is applied as except for the toned down glossy finish, nothing to see and it does take me a while to set up, do the photography and then the post work. About two updates ago, I decided to 'Focus Stack' a lot of the images in Photoshop, so the model will be sharp front to back which isn't possible at apertures of F22 or smaller due to diffraction (just a matter of physics) . Yes, photography is a passion of mine. I'm looking at the next up date to include most of the finishing detail work adding the gear, missiles and all the other small parts I left off until the end, plus some of the hand painting that needs to still be done.
