OMG - absolutely magnificent work - model ship building is an art I've tried and always fell on my face at. Surely would love to see ship building get going here on the forum and loads of tutorials. Keep 'em comin Peter -

Gaz Nice progress - in scale not always the specified are used - scale effect and weathering. What look good to YOUR eye, is all that counts. Keep 'em comin Peter -

Thanks Phil Haven't worked on the 219 in years but I'll eventually get back to it. Almost have enough work done on the Sufa for a build thread start/post - but this week is all doctor appointment, chemo, a Pepscan and consultation. I sill use Image Shack as I paid for a multi year subscription and posting photos from there is pretty easy as everything is all in one place. Peter -
It's been long time and 'm I still trying to remember how to post photos so I can get my Sufa build thread going. Hope this works. Fingers crossed Starting to figure it out Peter

Gaz Your bench disaster brought back memories of my most famous bench disaster a few years back. When building my Tamiya Mossie, I was using their lacquer thinner and had a paper tower pretty well saturated with it, sprawled out on the bench. Without thinking about it, It laid down the Mossie upside down on the bench and to my horror, my heart sank to the floor. the starboard was soaked and I thought destroyed. Wolf came to the rescue with a plan, which I followed to the tee. I let the wing dry for what I remember was amybe nearly two weeks to completely dry and then spend time applying many thing layers of filler, sanding each until the wing looked good. A coat of primer showed the day was saved. Lesson learned - no matter how bad the disaster, there is always a way out and never shy away for asking for help from the guys. Unfortunately, I still do the dumb thing over and over. Keep ' comin Peter -
