  1. John Up intil getting into lacquers, MM enamels would have been my choice - their color is spot on. Looking foward to seeing the TBM in her gloss sea blues. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  2. Kent Absolutely a knockout ... Like Martin, I followed your work on the other site for years and am so glad you are sharing your work with us now on LSM. Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Martin Completely agree with Ernie ... jaw dropping work Keep 'em comin Peter

  6. Rob Just finished catching up and some mighty fine work. The flaps just keep jumping out right at me - they just look so good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. John Just love those GSB finishes. What the paint of choice for one of your classic finishes? Peter
  8. Ernie Yup, quite a difference in seats and have to agree for those in there twenties, the seat on the right - the Aftermarket D looks the best. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Doc Very nice progress on the components looking mighty good Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Hi John Always a milestone when the air brush springs into action. I'm guessing the TBM is under one smooth coat of primer. Sure looks good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Phil That's the beauty of the GB, you are only building a model that you COULD enter but of course don't have to. It's just a suggestion that would help me take part in a GB and still focus on building for two up coming contests. Peter
  12. Ernie Thought you just might, like the idea.. The deadline: next August. No rush, no pressure. Peter
  13. Maru It's never to late to say: Welcome and hello Peter
  14. Maru Holy Smokes! Thank you for sharing for the link. I thoroughly enjoyed the images and a few where outrageous. The Thuderbird's diamond banking away and the tight up front P-51 were two standouts for me. Much appreciated Peter
  15. Ernie hit it right on the head: GB always have a great start and then the enthusiasm dies away. One problem is that if you aren't ready to start the GB at the beginning for what ever reason and starting after the bell, no one seems to know you are actually in it. For me, I've strated a few GB's and my ability to cross the line has been horrendous. I've also tended to not participate, as I actually have a yearly build plan and almost never does my planning seem to line up with GB's. A good example is I'm hoping to attend both the 2019 Mosquitocon in April and I've still got a shot at going to Chattanooga. I've pretty much decided what I am hoping to build and odds are those choices wouldn't work with a GB. I do have an idea: why not make our first GB very broad: A Contest Bound Build. Just my two cents worth. Peter
  16. John Looks great and no sweat: snapped into place is perfect. Careful and precise work: no problems down the road. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Thanks Ernie They were a ton of fun and I can't believe how many years have passed since then. peter
  18. Just thought I would follow Ernie's lead and post two photos of my favorites right up there with the Mossie. Peter
  19. Ernie Absolutely an amazing build, simply brilliant my friend Peter
  20. Why oh why not a 32nd scale B-58 ? Peter
