  1. Stunning Dennis, I like the weathering added to the wings very intuitive, congrats...
  2. What David said, some very fine modelling skills on show. Welcome to the forum, it’s the friendly corner of the web......
  3. Gaz, just thinking about this, looking good, how much weathering are you adding.......picture for reference and research......
  4. Carl absolutely stunning, the build appears smooth at the moment, when does the cussing start ....
  5. I’ll bite, since the Tamiya Lancaster 1/48 was released (1975) I wanted one and still do...........
  6. Here you go, the supermarket is within a old theatre amazing..........love Venice well recommend to anyone..........but come for a week at a time for the next 10 years as there's to much to see........
  7. Totally agree Gaz, there is a fine line between the two........
  8. Mark, I hear you, away in Italy at the moment but not sure if I’ll have a job when I get back. As I’m the bread winner this holiday has probably come at the wrong time. Having a very significant birthday early next year the chances of finding something new is pretty remote. Add Brexit and the world economy............shall I continue......best of luck, sounds you have a unique set of skills and age on your side.........
  9. Greetings from Venice Italy, nice haul guys............back to the bench on the weekend.......
  10. Carl, what happened did that squirrel visit again...........tidy bench, tidy mind .......
  11. Took my eye off your build since late July, I’ve motored on a bit now though. Looking absolutely stunning. Going to get the GB finished after getting back from holiday and the coax my Tempest across the line.......
  12. That’s a real PITA Ryan, good catch .......haven’t heard or read about this before......very strange......
  13. I reckon Ernie’s right, finished by Saturday, sprayed, weathered and decals applied late Sunday night........
  14. Gus, this is where I gleaned it from, hopefully it’s correct......... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brummbär
  15. Please do a WIP on this, I am seriously coveting this baby........is it for the GB?
  16. Group build #2 off and running. The Tiger 1 is basically complete bar a few tools to add. Then it’s lined up for the spray booth. With summer here “at last” in the UK I do enjoy modelling “al fresco” no that’s not rude.........So with this in mind I turned to the Tristar 1/35 Sturmpanzer IV Early Verizon - Mid Production.... As some of you may remember I posted this pic back in end of April in response to Martins “what’s on your bench” In doing some research today, it transpires that Sturmpanzer’s did participate in Normandy around about August.......... So only having done the wheels back back in April, I’d like to enter this as my second contribution to the GB.........typically Tristar there are a mountain of sprues and part count around 500.......including individual tracks. I await the judges decision........
