  1. Thanks Harvey. I am trying to give some sense to the floor layout. If you guys have some drawings and images , especially under the rear seat please hang it here. Cheers M.
  2. Hu Gaz, thank you for stopping by. Appreciate the compliments :), the plan is to keep it as simple as possible......or else LOL Thank You Anthony, I am having so much fun with this build, glad I can have you watching, you imputes and knowledge are alway appreciated. Cheers Martin He he, that exactly what they were thinking, no realizing that they set the precedencefor years to come Cheers M. This is what I did last night
  3. Wow, that gives me headache right here LOL, good show my friend !
  4. All the best James
  5. Thank You for stopping by Hubert, Yes I am trying to utilize my spare time this week, the pace will slow down as we get to more intricate detail assembly. Hi Phill, thank you for the compliments. I actually started last week and open this topic yesterday. The only new tooling that popped out recently were 1/48 scale Revell and 1/72 scale Airfix. There were also many rumours surrounding upcoming Beaufighter release created by me , therefore unreliable
  6. Oil radiators intakes in the leading edge are quite prominent feature, so let's give them some attention as well

  8. Thank You Rob, let us see how far I can tackle this one :), Thank you for stopping by. Thank You Carl, well this build is so much fun and I am really excited about it. There is nothing to mess up, you can only make things better I opted for 1F version in order to a\void all of the necessary additions related to later versions. Can't wait to see yours. Cheers M. Thank You Ralph, this kit is rather basic, but still a great starting point, it all boils down to references. Cheers M. Thinning the trailing edge
  9. Or there is this another kind of store for adults only, in this case, very small adults
  10. Hello Frank, how could I missed out on your fantastic build. Splendid work! Pulling out my comfy chair Cheers Martin
  11. DAMN ! BILL this should go into to the gallery. I love it, different approach ,but super cool. Tons of work went to the wells , , your wing transitions are flawless. Way too cool, thanks for sharing sir. Cheers M.
  12. Nice ! ZM is heavily over engineered , so your approach makes perfect sense Harvey. me likey
  13. Please do, I would be very pleased to get some motivational boost Also I need some advice here guys. Was there a canvas in the tail wheel well?
  14. The front canopy fits fairly well after some sanding. Only concern would be those pesky locator pins in the corners.
  15. Thanks Harvey, I knew you will like the black bird option :). I am powering through as much as I can while being home-alone with Sofia in school. P-38 is different story, since it was operational in the Pacific theatre . British islands are green and moist and muddy and people are still mixing cream into their tea over there, for real LOL As such
  16. And do not freak out about the preliminary scribing, it will look killer once sanded and riveted
  17. Oh nice Bill, did you finish that bad boy, looks like you were adding floors etc. Very cool ! I am humbled by your statement Tony and Thank You again of course. Rubber ducky is holding the cowling ring, that had to be slightly reworked. Inner diameter was small, by 3mm small ! Doesn't sound like much, but it does make quite a bit of a difference. There will be more work related to inner engine compartment, later
  18. Thank you Tony, I am glad you're in for an occasional ride here is the sheet of decals provided by Revell. I really like the colour of the insignia , but the code letters look little toxic.
  19. You get it right? It's a challenge. NG-F serial T4638 it is. I might get a plotter to cut the code letters, Revell's decals are , well weird looking. More pictures for your convenience. Check out the variety of discolouration and distortion of sheen of the surface of this plane caused by covering placement, bone fragments of the bitter enemy etc. Is anybody even reading this? Jeeez and his buddy NG-R
  20. Second is Nighfighter version. All in black Harvey! Black is almost a no-brainer, except....Martin never build black aeroplane and he doesn't now how to avoid the famous rubber ducky effect.
  21. Let's talk about camouflage . Revell offers tho schemes. First BP-N There are at least 3 contradicting interpretations of this camo, raging from desert to greys etc. Despite the fact that this machine is well documented via Imperial War Museum Archive I have no nerve and time to dig in files, so she's out.
  22. This all has been happening in past four days. Today I had a chance to reshape the observer's cupola ..... not sure how to call it, an observation dome ? Original part is too pointy Therefore I had to play a dangerous game with my dremell tool and 200 grit sand paper. Not too shabby real deal
