  1. Looking at the number of sinkers, you probably have more than 100 grs already. Hubert
  2. Looking forward to see your Mustang painted and decalled Hubert
  3. I hope things will improve for the better from now on. Good to see it seems so, my friend. As for your mother, it’s terrible to read such a story. One would expect this does not happen anymore in a « civilised » country …. Hubert
  4. Busting your balls with a cricket bat ? Inquiring minds want to know ... (ouch ! that must hurt !) Hubert
  5. Thanks for the pics, Dennis. I know the correction is well nigh impossible, but, every time I see one, I still can’t get on with the funky airfoil profile and wing incidence of the HB B-24 Far more visible than Cyrano’s famous nose IMHO … Hubert
  6. I had barely noticed that you had started a Spit, and now it’s already finished, and very nice at that ! Congrats, John, for another great build. Hunert
  7. I don’t know how I missed this one. VERY nice result ! Hubert
  8. 😂 … 15 years it’s going to be released the following year 🤣 😂 So funny, sort of ….😭 😩 Hubert
  9. Methink this one will have difficulties taking off, even more so in hot and high conditions … Just my Hubert
  10. NIce, clean work and painting, as usual ! HUbert
  11. I’m with Gary and Rob. Your work got me thinking. My style of modelling is to go detailing ad nauseam, to the point of getting stalled all too often by the dreaded AMS syndrome, to look for accuracy and scale rendering. Just as well, I have always dreaded the painting stage, and, in truth was never that interested in it. But the reality is that most of the detailing and accurazing is most often lost or invisible, so I am just left with the lonely satisfaction « to know it’s here », whereas a good - or an oustanding, like yours - paint job will make all the difference. I am not sure I am able to change my habits now, but it’s definitely worth having a hard thinking about them. In which case your work is one of the best tutorials I have seen for a long, long time. Hubert
  12. If the 3D design is already done, I just need the 3D file, either in a usable 3D format or as .stl file (.stl is for 3D printing already). It can then be scaled down to the size needed on the slicer program. If you have only a 2D drawings of, say, a spinner, I need basic dimensions like diameter, length, size of openings, profile. Translating a 2D spinner drawing in 3D is easy enough. Doing a 3D design of a wheel is a lot more involved, as the shape becomes complex. Hubert
  13. Time is free, and material cost infinitesimal given the likely weight. Hubert
  14. Not at all Martinn. I am just asking not to do the basic research: as you well know, LW things are not my daily cup of tea ... Hubert
  15. Of course. I always am ... Btw, printing a spinner should not be a big issue. If someone is willing to do the research and give me the basic dimensions and profile, it's a few minutes design, and a few hours' printing job Hubert
  16. Good choice with the Naxos antenna. It looks cooler, IMHO Hubert
  17. Interesting technique for sure. Thanks for posting it 👍. Hubert
  18. On the other hand, nobody will be able to tell you which is the right configuration. It’s like a wedding ceremony « speak now or shut-up forever », so you can say « I do » to whichever choice you want Hubert
  19. Me too … although I do not understand what dogs have got to do with it … Hubert
  20. YES ! How did you guess these news made me happy ? Hubert
