My condolences on your loss, Brad. -
Thanks again for your effort. That's the right gun... But I have one of those I can use. The mount is the crucial piece. I may scratch one some day. Bothers me that I still can't figure out what happened to them.

Thanks mate, I appreciate the effort!

Haha... not under the influence... I save beer bottle caps for holding CA or white glue. The lighter is for burning CA off of my CA applicator. The wooden stick holds my CA applicator. Alcohol gives me heart palpitations so I can;t drink and build at the same time. But yeah... I wish I could. -

Thank God I'm in QLD. When they say Melbourne, does that count all the suburbs, too? -

This is a great build, and interesting for all kinds of reasons. -
Wow, that muck wash really worked. Great job! I bought some and tried it... it wasn't the same brand used by everybody else... and I wasn't happy with the result. It made the plane too dirty.

What!?!?!? New release from HK in 1/32! Not expected!

All you need is this and a few good swings: -
So uh... what's the replacement plane?

After completing a couple large scale builds, I figure it's time to get back to some of my 1/48 scale treasures. The is Hobby Boo Boo's Fw 190D9. Amidst the mess. Partially experimental. I've decided regular model glue can take a long time to cure. Sinking and revealing seams that weren't there the day you sanded them smooth. So, all of the major seams along the wing edges and fuselage halves... I'm gonna glue with CA. Usually my photos here are taken after a bench clear off. But this is what it normally looks like; -
Recently completed: I spent more time on weathering these tracks than any previously. I think I've learned a lot about how rubber roadwheels react with the neighboring steel by looking at current photos. Thanks for looking! Gaz

The Ju-52 mightn't have been a big seller. But I'm sur e a P-38 or Beaufighter might've. Or even a new, top of the line 109 or 190. -

They knew announcing that they were gonna release a 'new' model would generate hype. Bunch of assholes. -

Great looking build! -
Yep... confined spaces really demand EZ line or something like it. On my D.VII build, only four of the twelve lines are monofilament. Most are just too short or close to a surface for heat-shrinking.

The complexity of aircraft models makes stripping a dangerous procedure. You don't want that stuff getting to the cockpit or other detailed places. Simple Green, Dettol, and Oven cleaner are also great for stripping acrylic paint. I really hate the thought of doing it.

Thank you for the offer. I lost the MG3 and it's mount for a leopard 2a4. Replacing the MG is no trouble... it's the mount that matters most. I could probably scratch it... I'm just not in the mood. -

My friend, Windex is the same as any blue glass cleaner. Mostly ammonia.
