    Peter, it turns out the fix for the rear seat was real quick. The resin seat had a moulded on hose on the back cushion. As soon as I clipped it off, the RIO fit correctly.

    My LHS just posted this pic of a U-Haul they're unloading. It's all 1/32 kits from I believe the 10,000 kit collection they bought a couple years ago.

    Looks like the decal dept scaled up a 1/350 sheet. Or maybe 1/700.

    I think it scares a lot of folks. Completely out in the open and no hiding any mis,-steps.

    Is it cracked? Or just a paint run? If it's only the paint, you can try using Tamiya lacquer thinner to remove it. Strip it back and then give it a polish with rubbing compound to remove the last of the residue and it should be good as new. I've done this a few times on canopy parts without any issues. But maybe test the plastic just in case.

    Well, @DocRob's Arado 234 build made me want to do another one so I started looking around. Seems the Fly kit is quite a bit more than it was previously, almost double in fact what I paid for my first one. Then I found this one for sale for less than the original Fly kit. Sold!

    Scott, if you get the chance check out the credits for the movie. There's more inflight footage as well as cat shots of various planes. The planes are fairly clean throughout the film with a bit of grime along the bellies. I'll be leaving mine mostly clean.

    Neat! We're close enough to CWHM that they'll fly over the city in the summer. Nothing quite like 4 Merlins in close formation.

    The forward fuselage is together. This time it was much easier without needing to worry about the NLG bay. The pilot is sitting on the Teknics seat I did earlier. His hands are on the throttle and stick with only a slight tweak to the stick angle. The RIO is on the kit seat. He fit better on that than the Teknics one so I'll have to figure out whether to tweak the fit of the Teknics seat or have both of them on the kit ones.

    Sprue goo for the preliminary filling as well as strengthening of the joint.

    That looks good. Nice fix on the windscreen and well worth the effort.

    Fuselage is now one piece. Once dry I'll fill the join and do touch up paint work.
