Oh Gary I think the DH was a .44 mag was it not?memory going for sure at times.I am not a big hand gun guy all I have is a 5" SF .45 in the WWII layout and to be honest had more kick than the Eagle the eagle is quite heavy.I always like the asthetics of the Walther over the Luger and should of bought one years back when they were $225 with the holster coming out of surplus from Germany.

Now I have shot a "Dirty Harry .357 Mag" and it was brutal! The guy had a scope actually on it a full size moose target @75yds which I promptly missed one handed shooting I handed the MK'er back back to the guy after one round!!He was laughing his arse off!I have shot and my wife has a Desert Eagle .50 with less recoil and it was her first handgun and she knock the target over(bullet so close). That gun Gary would be brutal.

Something I have been working on for sis she wanted a replacement to go in the bathroom.I just started building it and it just kind of flowed from the my head never hit paper that happens a lot paper comes for replication. The old piece she p/u in a yard sale her attraction? got me but she wanted an upgrade.I still have a few more coats of oil this Aromatic Cedar is soaking it up it's some stuff I get out of Vicksburg MS and is citrus based works really well in making the colors pop.The bottom shelf is removal-able if she does not have a desire not to use it.

PCM-1/32 Reggaine Re.2005-Finished
KevinM replied to KevinM's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
It's been slow working in the other side of the shop on a piece for Sis.The Re.2005 has been primer fit overall was pretty good for a limited -run kit I think my projection of the exhaust is a bit extreme should of looked at more pics of the real thing instead went with the positive stops of the mold.I tried to loosen with acetone and about brought the whole build to a halt I managed to save the build after several cracks to the nose were repaired. The MG's in the nose are from the spares box while they gave resin for the wings which will be discarded for metal tubing.I still need to see if I have a suitable color for the top in the stash. -

I think it looks pretty good Chris better than the pastels I have used just to many products out there we have a tendency to get stuck. -

So I bookmarked the site I watch alot of YT normal TV is woke/BS and weathering is an artistic license within it self yours looks wonderful. Oh and therein lies the problem in some part I am an enamel guy probably have 200 bottles of MM and a mix of others.I like Alclad for my NM finishes which is lacquer paint.Hence the reason one has to use a clear opposite of weathering agent which for some reason does not always work for me. -
Well Guys I have changed my mine I am going the Revell 1/32 Arado 196A-3 already eyeing a couple of aftermarket pieces.I got some stuff today from HLJ for the Scharnhorst and plan on starting but ready to start in November. The two kits will go hand in hand in the future..

Not first place but a close 2nd it was a small showing of builds about 100/150 entries in all categories with ships being the smallest so nothing to brag about. The judge did say she's a show stopper does many shows across the SE.He said if I would of dullcoated the deck for some glue marks hands down I was #1 if taken care of he said do it and take her to some more shows.I did take 1st in the 1/48 with my "Lil Margaret" P-51 REECE. -
You got that right 😂 Nice scheme John!

I have glued the wings up a bit of sanding on the top of the wheel wells on the one I had to repair that .010" made a difference but was accomplished. The fit between the wing and the fuselage is exceptional for now......their is no dihedral looks like maybe 10'tops got to fix that.I f#$% up the exhaust and I knew I should not of glued them really snug/tight fit they stick out to far.The instructions do not show how much and I moved them to the point of a positive stop on the mold.I also made some bolts for the oleo's that were lost in removing them from casting block and will add hydraulics to the LG.I am still thinking when all said and done she will look good.
