  1. That sounds like an unusual but very exciting project Danny. Would be great to see some pictures when the time comes. Your picture with Shiva still makes me smile. Our two Jack Russells are like that, comatose, until someone opens something edible. I swear they can hear a packet of crisps opening from 5 km away!
  2. Wow, that's some seriously impressive scratch work!
  3. Well worth the effort Rob, looks great.
  4. Thanks for your efforts guys. Ah, the joys of the upgrade! Our IT people took our entire hospital (1000+ beds) offline for almost a day recently when they attempted a system upgrade. Thankfully they do a full system restore each evening so they could get it back.
  5. No pre-shading on the Schlepper?!
  6. Good to hear everything is settling down and we'll see some more of your outstanding work. Worrying that PB seem to be screwing over even those with 'premium' accounts. So the the $400 or whatever really is extortion!
  7. BACK IN BLACK! Well, sorted out the camera issues and using the hosting on here rather than PB, so here's the progress. Everything primed up using Mr Surfacer 1500 thinned with Mr Levelling. Load out will be Sidewinders, Python 4, JDAMs and wing and centre-line tanks. Decided to close everything up, so unfortunately no decent pictures of the cockpit. Next step is to give the whole airframe a buff up with some fine grit so it's ready for the first colour. Going to use the Mig Ammo IDF colours which will be a new adventure so I'll probably drag out the old paint mule to try some thinning ratios, etc. Have the Mig thinner but I'm tempted to see how it goes using the Mr Levelling as it just always seems to work. Any comments on that thought would be welcome.
  8. Worth all the hassle Danny as that is a very nice finish and a nice display.
  9. Yep, same here in soggy Scotland!
  10. Very sorry to hear that Rick but luckily your family are ok. Sad about the dog though.
  11. Glad you've found a way forward Rich. Just as well you've been so thorough about test fitting everything as there could have been a few nasty surprises if you hadn't!
  12. The PB issue is only part of the problem. I've also got a broken camera - shutter jam - and my tablet is out of use, so even taking pictures is a challenge!
  13. Looks great Jeroen. Like an old Matchbox kit with all those colours!
  14. Hi Dennis, progress has been steady but I've had issues getting pics to upload. Construction is almost done, just need to do some work to get the IDF ECM pod at the base of the tail added. Will try and borrow my daughter's camera to get some pics. Cheers, Gus
  15. Bit bigger than an Me-109 and bit smaller than a Spit. Impressive!
  16. Looking good. I suspect the 'wingspan' of that tail isn't dissimilar to that of a few fighters from that era.

Sorry to hear about the flood. Lovely start on the Migs. Are those PE instrument panels or painted? They look great whichever they are.
  18. Hi Rich, on vacation so time has become a bit hazy! Late to bed, late to rise. Whatever, your work still looks damn impressive.
  19. Nice solution to the nose width issue. Enjoy your vacation.
  20. Nice pick up Danny. What are you going to build it as? Mind you, the dog doesn't look too impressed by it!
  21. Hi Danny, good to see the Flogger back underway. Sorry to hear about your job situation. Seems very unfair to lose your livelihood because of a simple accident.
  22. Good to see you back Ian. I'd missed your pic of Geddy and Lerxt with the 'double doublenecks'!!
  23. It looks a lot better than just fine Rich!
