I'd agree about the Future Danny but I happily thin Tamiya acrylics with Mr Levelling Thinner and have had no issues to date.

Wonderful finish Darren. When I get round to mine I'll be happy if it's half as good. -
Thanks for the weigh-in Rich, it's getting hefty! Looks great with it though.

Great to see what can still be achieved with these venerable old kits.

Thanks Barry. As Cees says, its an even more impressive result to know how it was done. -

Really nice result. What conversion did you use for the cropped wing tips? -
Sorry to hear that Rich. PB really are a shower o' ****! As Rob says, hosting stuff on here works very well if this is your main site for posts.

We'll have to start calling you 'The Head Hunter'! Very cool collection though Danny.

Nice haul and the paint should keep you going for a while. The F4 is a sweet deal at 40 quid!

Ah, hadn't considered that but I suppose with an ammonia base that would be possible. I feel an experiment coming on.... -
Nice Rich. Just as a matter of interest how much does this thing weigh now?!

Thanks Darren, will have to look into that Humbrol maskol. I've got the Gunze Neo liquid mask and it's too thick to try a technique like that but your results look very nice. -

The stripes look suitably 'scruffy' Darren. What technique did you use, hairspray, liquid frisket or somesuch? -
Those Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes are great. I have the Evolution 2 in 1 and touch wood I've had no real problems with it so far. Hope you get yours sorted out.

Looks great Rich, just a shame to see so much of that work disappearing under cover.

Looking good Rich!

Thanks Rob. Hard to see how you miss-count by 3 but heh-hoh! -

Thanks coolboxx, I'll try and pick up those Brassin cannons before I get round to this. -

Looking good! Are those the kit gun barrels? I have this in mind to do next and was wondering about AM barrels, but those look pretty good. -
Not really Cees. Slight planning faux pas on my part. It just hadn't quite dawned on me that most of the stencils supplied with the kit are to suit the lo-vis grey colour scheme until I went to apply some the other night. Oops!! The Sky's Decals set I have don't contain stencils so I'm now waiting for the Isradecal set to arrive from Aviation Megastore. They're meant for the Sufa but most of the stencils are identical to the early noughties F-16Cs, so I should get enough to work with. Thankfully the Israeli's seem to keep the stencilling to a minimum in comparison to some other operators.
