Nice Danny. I built that kit last time out as a Syrian aircraft over Lebanon in 1982. I think it's one of Trumpeter's best and goes together well - my only comment would be make sure you get the cogs for the swept wings well seated as if they are left too high the plane is left with a 'humpback'. The Aires pit fits beautifully with minimal effort and the Linden Hill decals are excellent. Will be watching with interest!

Very effective Danny. The artificial plant leaves look great once shaped like palm leaves. -
Nice paintwork with the mottle camo. One weird looking aircraft - looks like someome was looking for a place to store some spare engines!

Looks great Tom, if rather unwieldy! I'm amazed you've only damaged one fin so far. As they say, 'you could have yer eye out with that!'.

Looks lovely. It actually seems a shame to have to hide that lovely timberwork under paint.

Hi Danny looks great. Which panel line washes are you using? I've been using the Ammo ones on my F15 and I'm very impresssed. -

Nice finish Tom. Especially like the over-painted markings. -
Add another one following along! Lovely work on the wood interior and the cart.

Looking great Danny. Think I must investigate those Mr Paints. They seem to get great reviews from everyone who has used them. -
Nice save, as DocRob said I also wouldn't have had a clue that this wasn't the plan all along.

Looking good Danny. Nice to see some of the Shepherd Neame Spitfire bottles in there, it's a nice beer at the 'light' end of the scale. Their Bishop's Finger is nice as well. Interesting that you've got everything on bases as that's something I've never tried but the results are mightily impressive.

Hi Ozzy, can recommend the Micromesh clothes but I share your doubts about the Tamiya coarse polish. Used the coarse and fine on the canopy of my current Tamiya F-15C build but I'm pretty sure I could have gone straight from the highest grit Micromesh to the finish polish. It does look and feel freakily like toothpaste but as long as you keep it out of the bathroom you should be ok! Gotta agree about the Mr Surfacer as well, it's great stuff, especially the black 1500 if you want to go down the black-basing route. Never tried spraying the Tamiya enamels as they're hard to get in the UK but I find the acrylics spray much better when thinned with Mr Levelling thinner. The 'Owl' is looking great so far, looking forward to seeing the paint going on. -

Wow Oliver, those are some serious scratch building skills there! Are the wheels and tyres from another kit or something you created yourself? -

Hi Danny, how's progress with this one? I finally tracked down some of your Malheur champagne beer, wow it's lovely. I'm keeping the rest for when I'm off at Christmas so I can really enjoy them! -
Wow, looks great Kent. I remember building the Humber kit as a kid and I never would have imagined it could be made into something so cool.

Nice finish, slightly worn but not overdone. -
Busy applying all the stencils, the downside of modern jets! Should get them finished tomorrow night. The kit decals are a little thick but settle down ok after a good dowsing of Micro Sol. The Cutting Edge decals are very nice and settle into the panel lines beautifully.

That looks great. Are you leaving the framing exposed as it looks very good? -
