On to the tail wheel jig!

I got this Revell electric compressor for my 18th b-day. 23 years ago. Still works like a dream and never used anything else.

Wow! Absolutely cool photo of the P-38. I don't think it will be much longer before we frown upon recessed panel lines on our models. What is that first aircraft?

Small progress! I did some more on scratching the jig. Trying to guess measurements from the photo's I've got and it's getting there. Pretty sturdy contraption. Also: The3d printed wheels arrived. Really crisp and hardy any 3d printing patterns to discover on the surface. I need 5 in total. 4 for th main jig and one for the small jig holding the tailwheel-fork.

Here's a look at the base. I had it printed in the same way I had the Ju88 base done. This is done by an industrial printer that can print on almost every material. I tried several calculations and tried sourcing the wooden bases for an economical friendly price, but the end conclusion is that the revenue of a base like this is unviable... Sorry. So for the time being I can only produce these for myself. Maybe some day I will find a way to produce these for anyone interested, but just not now.
