Peterpools
Martin Spectacular work - beyond my skills and patience levels these days. As the years keep adding up, I’ve become more and more of an OOB guy and concentrate on the finish. Of course I only wish I could do the work you do! So I overlap it with a picture of an real aeroplane that was scaled up to the spinner diameter just to see the proportions and realized that the drownings are incorrect. The plug was too big. so back to the basics. I meant mitre saw LOL I can think of a few of my builds that would benefit from a close encounter with that! 3

You are not the first modeller, nor modelling company btw, to be fooled by wrong references. And people wonder why new kits are sometimes not more accurate I like your tools Martin. A bit cumbersome on the bench maybe... Hubert

Martinnfb
Nice detail of the inner flaps structure. I’m finally somewhat satisfied with the shape of the nose. of course I had to drop the propeller and broke the tip. Just a tip.
Peterpools
Martin Shape issues are in the past and all the work I’s paying off. Glad you were able to fix the prop tip without a lot of extra work. Keep ‘em comin Peter 5

Martinnfb
Gentleman , thank you so much for your support. There is so much more to change, but I would never finish. So the next stage is scribing, polishing and riveting. 5
Martinnfb
Just in case a "decent" drawing, Edit: ,,with exception of the shape of the additional tail segment for F-20. It should be squared up on the short tail fuselage . Not streamlined . mediocracy is becoming a standard nowadays , let us blame it on Covid Edit 2: Exhaust stacks should be angled on Merlin LOL 6

JohnB
Coming along very well Martin. WAY too much work to correct that kit. That's why mine is, and will likely stay, on the SOD.
