Soo.... What did you just get???

The Sikorsky also has the short sponson on the H-3 A through D and G models.

Of more notes, the AC generator bulge on the doghouse, the Tail Boom Strake, the vents in the engine doors, the vent behind the cockpit, and the behind the cargo door fuel option.

The 6 blade tail rotor was thought to make i more efficient, but did little more than add weight, but the strake! It really helped!

I love the Sea King!

Nice Carl, I'm still toying with the 1/35 Tamiya kit, but not before I built their Archer.

Cheers Rob

I've got the Tamiya one as well. I'll be using the paint guide from that kit for this one as Takom doesn't include any paint references.

Yes, it sure has! I plan to get the big Das Werk 1/16 Puma when it comes

out . I've been stalled on my big Sherman build for a week now, but I'll

get back to it this weekend.

I wouldn't mind one of the other armoured car variants myself. The Puma is pretty cool too.

I would absolutely love a  hybrid Firefly though.

Another successful roll of the dice!  Of course this one took some logistical luck, timing and help from a friend.  I think it was Martin that had one posted a couple weeks back?  By the time I decided I wanted it, poof! Ad was gone so I assumed sold.
I turned to eBay.  Seller from Japan, $85 shipped!  Timing was perfect. Was supposed to arrive on a Friday when the wife was working.  Oops!  Sat in customs in Japan 5 days.  Fortunately we had an out of town trip when it showed up so I had my buddy drive over and porch pirated it and hid it in my truck! LOL!

But wait!  There’s more!  Another post to follow up shortly.

I haven't built it but it's the Trumpeter kit re-boxed. Try looking for reviews of that kit. Supposedly it's not bad.

As promised, my other goodies that showed up.
1st is something I’ve seen online, but never could find it in stock here in the USA. Tamiya Decal Adhesives. Bought both, one with softener added, from Super Hobby in Poland.

The last is the Laminar Flow Design Griffon conversion.  I’m going to use this with my Tamiya Mk. VIII kit I got back during the Tamiya USA sale they had.

Some more car kits from Japan:

Ebbro´s Lotus Type 49c, a nice 1/20 kit and as a highlight has tyres with printed pinstripe and Firestone logo included. Looks a lot like a Tamiya kit. I added MFH aluminum funnels and MFH meshes for the funnels. These will be very prominent on the finished model.

I couldn´t resist the Tamiya Mercedes 300 SL, which will be build oob or maybe heavily pimped.

That Mercedes is supposed to be a very nice kit. They did a great job capturing the details of the frame.

The SL 300 will be build more or less oob or using the Fat Boy conversion from MGSF, which looks loke this:
