The forthcoming ZM « B », designed by Radu Brinzan …

ZM is going to release a two seater? I have the -A in stash and plan to build it soon, but am more interested into the two seater. Anyway, if I´m building both, I would go for wood and metal finish with the -A.

Cheers Rob

The answer to that is definitely "yes". I read ZM are working on a "true" -B version, based on period drawings, and designed by Radu Brinzan, which in itself is a sign of great accuracy - in as far as being acuurate is a relevant term for a paper aircraft -. The -B version will have a totally different "nose", with revised intakes, etc.

I managed to pick up this silly pilot for $69,90 at the LHS today. They are becoming hard to find and despite it being labeled by Trumpeter , its a scaled-up copy of 1/48 Accurate Miniatures TBF.

I'm still on the fence about getting an Avenger. Still haven't built one in any scale but not sure that's enough of a reason. The Squirrel just isn't quite strong enough I guess.

Nice! You can't beat Plaza for their Tamiya prices! Even with the shipping you get great deals.

I'm interested in the Tamiya Mustangs , but I don't have much experience with NMF. I hope you post your builds.

I have the P38...bought it at a local ACE hardware of all places.... I did NOT get it cheap.

It should be an entertaining follow up.

It wasn't that bad:

For my wallet anyways. We'll see what happens to my body when Sue sees what I picked up. Then there'll probably be a second round when Rachael sees what I got for Martin.

For clarity, the Stratos was won by our son in the show raffle. But he gave it to his friend who came along with us to the show. This was after Edward had won a NASCAR kit.

I also found Spitfire: the Canadians so grabbed those.

Looks like you had a great time Carl. The Stratos is a cool raffle prize and very generous of your son to gift it to his pal.

Nice!  Looks like everything I would have grabbed.  I’ve built the U boat but still have the Gato in the stash.  I’m actually contemplating putting it up for sale if I can get a box big enough to ship it in.

getting an Avenger.

I'm not running an aviation museum, despite the appearance that I have one... So I tend to stick to planes I like. The Avenger is an important part of WW2 history, made a significant contribution, but it's just not that interesting to me.

Ok, an oddball kit came today...An  ugly aircraft, but I find it appealing in a strange way.

I refer to Trumpeter's 1/32 Yakovlev YAK-18  Max.(02213)

     Also some Friulmodel tracks. This time their. M11/39 M13/40, Semovente M40 75/18 M 40, M 14/41, M15/42 M 42 in 1/35.

One thing I should have mentioned. I would be interested in an Atlantic scheme Avenger. Very different look from the non spec blue usually covering them. I plan to build a Wildcat in this scheme someday.

Big shout out to Peter for his kind and generous approach. I needed a set of exhaust stacks for my 1/24 Fw-190d project. And decided to cannibalize the Ju-87 set from Airscale. But didn’t want to kill it , Peter @airscale was kind enough to send me a replacement parts, he went above and beyond, free of charge. I’m humbled.
Thank you!

Martin
