From Hasegawa, their Boeing P-12E in 1/32. This thing has been around for decades, being first released in the 70's. According to Scalemates, my model is From 1975 or thereabouts. The parts are still sealed in the bag and the decals look OK , but.......... Nice box art I think. Anyway I built this around 1980 . the last boxing was in the 2000's but those sell for a lot more. Anyway I'll have fun with this one. I like aircraft of this era😀 Oh, I just added this.....Got my set of "Golden Maple" 10/0 paint brushes.... I picked up some of the Hasegawa 1/32 yellow wing kits myself. Not sure if you know, but Lone Star Models makes cockpit sets for them. Vector also makes engine sets. 2

And, even though it’s not needed for most yellow winged aircrafts, don’t go buying their R-1820, or Shvestov M-62. Because they could not understand the oil sump shape, they managed to distribute the 9 cylinders unevenly. On a radial 9 cylinders, the angle between each is 360/9 = 40 degrees, not 37 or 43 🤬 ! One interesting link for 1/32 engines. https://fpwmodelshop.pl/en_US/c/132-scale/51 As for Lone Stars, is he still in business ? Hubert 2 2
BlrwestSiR Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Just got my first 1/32 vac.kit. My LHS finally listed the Echelon BAC Lightning they've had in storage for the last few years. This is one kit I've wanted for a while. I'll try to pick it up next week. 6
HubertB Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Fantastic pick, Carl. The only accurate Lightning in 1/32 … Hubert 4

I read something about the owner " liquidating assets".

I've had the Trumpeter kit in the stash for quite some time and most of the AM for it. I'm glad I procrastinated long enough that I can use much of that AM on this kit instead. 2
GusMac Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Looking forward to seeing a WIP of the Lightning Carl. Having conquered my 'fear' of resin kits thanks to Ernie, a vac would be the next step but watching Tom's builds of things like his Stirling and Sunderland I'm not convinced my scratch building skills are there yet. 2

Gus, I'm in the same boat. I've yet to build a vac kit. I only own one other vac kit and that's a 172 Canuck. 2

He's on Facebook - he re-opens his website when he is available to take orders, then closes it when he has a backlog so he can get orders out. 1
