My first finished build for 2017frantic.gif

6 months, and that's a real record for me, normally i do it in about a year. That said, my accident gave me lot's of free time, so you guy's know the reason nowevil_laugh.gif

For this build i used for the first time Mr. Paint, which gave me lot's of joy.

Well here they are, hope you guy's like it the way she is.hmmm.gif

Wonderful result. I followed your WIP with great interest, because I built the Gullwing myself. Nice to see such a wonderful result and convincing appearance.

I'm a little bit jealous about your removable engine cowls :) , because I couldn't do it on mine with the Brassin engine.

The Brassin engine is a real gem, it deserves to put in open position on the plane.

Beautiful weathering!!! I learn something new every time you post, so many thanks for allowing us to watch over your shoulder

With pleasure mate, that's the power isn't it, we learn from each other.

Very Very Very cool.

Lovely weathering...

Thank's jeroen :thumbsup2:

Lovely job Danny, looks nicely faded and worn.

I'd like to speed up my pace of work as well, but I'd rather not have to break my ribs to do it! Hope everything has healed well.

Gus

Thank's Gus, and yes indeed mate, breaking some ribs isn't the way to go :wallbash:

Everything is healed very well, i'm back on cruise control

nailed it.  weathering and salmon pink.

Thank's Rick :thumbsup2:

Perfect, well done Danny. That faded look is spot on.

Thank's mate :thumbsup2:

Very nice work, Danny. I know i said it before over on LSP but i wanted to go on record here, saying i liked it.

You managed to do a good weathering job on an early Corsair, without going overboard. In particular, you weathered the propeller blades and hub in a realistic manner; quite different from the heavily-sandblasted propellers we see a lot.

It also looks like you got a good fit between the cowling segments, without any of the excessive gaps we talked about.

If he were still around today, i think Ed Oleander would have really liked it.
