JohnB Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 Coming along on the cockpit. My apologies for the crummy photos. 5
Peterpools Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 John Awesome work on the front office and the weathering is superb. The seat cushion is my favorite - looks dead on the money Keep 'em comin Peter 3
JohnB Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 Thanks Peter. I'm working on attaching wiring on the engine now and I hope to have that done tomorrow sometime. 1
Peterpools Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 John Looking forward to your next update and engine pics Keep ‘em comin Peter 2

JohnB Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 Progress so far. I'll mount the turret assembly to the cockpit sub assembly then attach all that to the fuselage halves. So far fit has been good. I didn't bother with the stuff behind the engine bay as it would not be visible later. 6
Peterpools Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 John WOW< you sure are rolling ... the engine and interior looks great and nice choice on not spending time on those hidden details - I would have done the same 'Keep 'em comin Peter 3
JohnB Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 Thanks Peter. I hope to have the fuselage closed up soon then it's on to the wings. At first glance they just might be a bit fiddly with a bit of a cuss-factor. We shall see! 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted August 13, 2018 Administrators Posted August 13, 2018 If it’s anything like the Accurate Miniatures kit, and it looks similar, closing the fuselage will be an ‘adventure’. 1
DocRob Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Looking great, I hope Clunkmeister isn't Right about closing up problems with your TBM and about the 1/48 one from Accurat Miniatures, because this will be one of my next builds, peppered up with lots of AM. I wish you luck with the fuselage and hope to see that beauty developing further. Cheers Rob 1
Grunhertz Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 I didn't have a great deal of issue with the AM TBM apart from the turret but then everyone does. 2
JohnB Posted August 13, 2018 Author Posted August 13, 2018 We will soon know guys. I have my fingers and toes crossed! 1
