Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 9, 2018 Administrators Posted September 9, 2018 Nice solution John. It sure is looking great, though. 2

BlrwestSiR Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Great problem solving there John! I sometimes wonder why model companies hate their customers and do things like that which make you crazy. Carl 2
JohnB Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 Okay. I have HAD IT with this SOB. Back to the SOD while I still have some hair. 2

Agree the Tamiya Corsair will get the mojo flowing again. That P-61 has fought me tooth and nail from day one and I've just had enough. This hobby is supposed to be fun and that SOB definitely is not fun (unless you are a masochist). I'm looking forward to enjoying the Corsair build. 2
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 12, 2018 Administrators Posted September 12, 2018 John, I’m a resin-0-holic, so I understand masochism. 3
JohnB Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 LOL Ernie. I too like resin kits/accessories as long as they are good quality and don't require a lot of "make work". I built two HpH resin P-63's which were no walk in the park but were enjoyable builds with very good moldings and details. 1
Wingco57 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 What a Pity, and you were doing so well. 3
Grunhertz Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Ouch and that was looking great. I wondered why you don't see many built at shows 2

Bomber_County Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 And for you to say that John, it must a SOB.......... 2

I expect even the most expert builders would agree. It makes you appreciate all the more the Tamiya and Hasegawa kits, just to name two.
DocRob Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Some kits are just made for the shelf of doom, pity. The good News is, that in recent times These kits became particulary rare. Godd luck with the Corsair. Cheers Rob 2
Peterpools Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 When it gets to be a grind and no fun, back in the box and up on the self. WOW, another Corsair. I'm ready and waiting Peter 1
