sluggo
3D printed PanzerHund. I still seem to be struggling with finishing anything. I got a resin printer recently and this is one of the things I printed. Around 28 hours of print time. Maybe something totally different will be the slump breaker. So, we'll give it a whirl. Base coat: Alclad chrome. Main color: RLM70 I've done all the chipping and applied a couple of coats of future. Lots of oil stains, rust and general weathering to go. Needs some markings too.
Bomber_County
The detail is incredible, what was the resolution / thickness?

[CAT]CplSlade
Is that something you came up with or is it a downloadable CAD file you found/bought online?

It's from the Wolfenstein game series. It's downloadable. I printed it at 50% of it's normal size and it's still 7.5 inches long. I purchased the file here: https://www.malix3design.com/2018/01/panzerhund-3d-printable-model.html#!/~/ There's a free one out there that's pretty basic. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/panzerhund-robot-attack-dog

GazzaS
Man... you guys gotta quit putting up pictures of meat on the grill.... It's near bed time and my appetite just said: "Hey!" Anyway.... masking...Masking....Masking... The WNW decals are white-backed.... so, the overspray won't show through. Happy modelling! 8

Jackster
I have been cracking on with the SAS vehicles, both Tamiya. Very enjoyable builds. Still quite a bit to do before I can get on with the weathering though. Cheers Kev
GusMac
Looking great Jackster. Always loved the Pink Panther kit since I built one as a kid. Certainly didn't look like that! From memory it met a sticky end with a banger!

sluggo
Well Gents, looks like the Panzerhund is the first build to make it off my bench since 2016. Hopefully the slump is broken. I'm calling it finished but I may add a little rust here and there and maybe pick out a little more detail. A couple of firsts for me along the way. Overall I'm pretty happy with it even though I blasted through it and the markings are not true to the game series. 5
GazzaS
Thank you, Sluggo! Your hound looks pretty awesome. More masking.... Ready for decals, now.
BlrwestSiR
Sluggo, the finish on your Hound looks great. I especially like the worn paint finish. Gaz, did you cut the masks yourself? Good idea to split up the paint job into sections. Carl
BlrwestSiR
I've been working on an RC car with my youngest son. We're almost done the assembly but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the steering assembly. The steering tie rods are connected to the upper arms. But it supposedly will be steerable while doing wheelies. We'll see.

BlrwestSiR
I wanted a quick change of pace so I broke out a 4 engine heavy. I had hoped to build an HK B-17G as Little Miss Mischief but this will have to do. 3

Today was decals and masking the tail markings. 6
BlrwestSiR
Yesterday I got my Honda City finished. I took for a spin in the laneway. Seems slower than I expected but that may be the battery pack needing a charge. Thankfully I didn't roll it as these things are notoriously top heavy. Now to finish Sue's VW Bus so we can have drag races with the kids.

Something where you can't rivet count. I've got their Lanc as well. That'll be done as VR-A.
