For some reason, this Tamiya epoxy is scary bad.  Same with the HPH epoxy I use for my resin stuff. Apparently it must have something known by the State of California to cause cancer in baby whales.

HOLY COW............................. NOT the WHALES !!!!???????  We have a pod of killer whales that are in dire need of 'protecting' , we can't fish any more, because they eat fish, we can't run a boat any where near them, because that scares them and the fish they eat, we can't make any noise around them........ah ............ because......................... all ships have to slow down and lower rpm .................................because................................................ GEEZ................. did anyone ask them IF they wanted ALL this protection and who protected them BEFORE we got here???    :rofl:sorry, again , I couldn't resist......

I thought everything was carcinogenic in California!?

Working with radioactive materials everyday you soon realise most people have a pretty poor ability to assess 'relative risk'. Simple fact is there is only one universally fatal sexually transmitted disease....  and that is LIFE!

Get on and live it and do what you want coz the next bus round the corner could have your number on it.

John, for some reason, I am having hard time to find Apoxie in local stores. My last batch was spent on the Mi-17 ramp :(.

Martin, maybe check art stores for Apoxie. I picked up mine from the neighborhood art store.

Boy................ no kidding................. what ever happened to good old common sense? I'm sure we don't need to be 'protected' from EVERYTHING................... do we??  I 100% agree with you....

This Californian could say a lot, but will refrain. I can't really think of any modeling supplies that are not available to me. I could actually see them banning the sale of "plastic" models before anything else. I am actually not carcinogenic, but have been found to be hazardous to members of other websites.

Well, I think I've run out of bench space. I'm having to step over kits just to get to my bench.

It's not much better behind my bench either...

Guess there's only one thing to do...

...I've got to finish something!

Not only will you be stepping over 'kits', sounds like you are going to be stepping over "KIDS" as well.....

Yup, I've already gotten complaints there's no for them to build. Might have to get them a small bench of their own.
