Is this Airfix's ridiculously priced new 1/48 model ? I really fancied one by can't bring myself to pay Tamiya prices for Airfix quality stuff even if it is the only show in town .

Regardless looks good in primer , going FAA or RAF ?

First up is a Meng Rolls Royce armored car in a Caunter scheme. Weathering is in progress.

My second project is Tamiyas 1/48 F-35A. It's a beautifully engineered kit and a lot more interesting subject than I thought it would be. Just getting started on the cockpit.

the last three are of my display cabinet. The Sub on top is USS Parche SSN 693. I served aboard her from 1993-97. Most "exciting" tour I had.

Some Nice works Rob looking for more in the future.;)

Decided to give this ago . . .

Its been some time since I put glue to plastic so I hope this will kick start a new phrase of interest which will lead me back to my 32nd scale Lancaster  . . .

Some progress from the last couple of days  . . .

best regards to all

Looks great...... I'm tempted by those Gecko kits. 'Had a look at their little Daimler

armored car...

Still plodding along on my Tamiya T55a...had a disappointing day....paint finish, well, a little lumpy. Turns out I had an issue with my regulator/ water trap....it was full of calcium

rich water, all scaly and nasty. After disassembly and cleaning the issue was resolved.

Finish....while , not great will Look absolutely look fine after flat coating...but, I'll still know it's

there. Anyway, an impromptu (crappy) picture. The decals went on great... A little

Solvaset...and they really laid down. So here it is...In my airbrushed hand

That foiling is really spot on Gary , the way your getting it to conform to the curves is impressive 👍

It looks like you have beaten the hardest compound curves. So, what did you use in the end, standard foil, or the sticky pipe tape ?
