DocRob
Nice detail work Jeroen and great looking wheel wells. I have to second harv, these hinges look absolutely fiddly. I wish you luck to get them assembled to the fuselage without probs. Cheers Rob

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 2, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2020 So the four mg151 20mm rounds arrived. The four belt links that fit them are on their way. The mk103 round I’m still looking for and seems hard to find... in the photo you also see a 20mm flak round, a 30mm mk108 round and a mg151 20mm round.

Yup! All inert. Finally managed to find a complete mk103 round. These things are very very hard to find. Found one at a militaria dealer in Germany. Where else?? Costed a few pennies but worth it because i’ve seen them go for way more. The price on mine was 100€ in case you’re wondering. At the same time also bought a few complete MG FF rounds. First paint on the gear legs and doors with a little modulation.
Bomber_County
In my opinion that’s a good price for a chunk of history, I hope you live somewhere big with all of these stunning vignettes you do.....

Rowdy
Great effect on the wheels Jeroen, good choice regarding the rims as well! Best way to leave it like this, some pics show indeed the almost overall black color.. have that same issue with the He219 wheels... still reading about that and still no clue on what to deside so far, but I will save the pics of your wheels for reference!!
BlrwestSiR
Jeroen, the wheels look great. I like seeing how folks tackle the same thing but in different ways. I usually paint the tire first and then the hub so seeing you do the opposite is nice.
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted November 10, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted November 10, 2020 Started masking the front canopy. I might scratch the inside tubular frame from very thin rod.
