1/24 De Havilland Mosquito FB.Mk.VI

Recommended Posts

Well here she is. After just over a year (!) the Mossie is finally done.

A brief introduction:

DeHavilland Mosquito FB.Mk.VI, HR118, W-3, of 235 Squadron. She was based at RAF Portreath, Cornwall, England, June 1944 and carried out anti-shipping patrols during the D-Day landings. Finished in Special Coastal Duties Scheme A, with a full set of AEAF (D-Day) Bands.

Its been a long old haul getting to this point, but ultimately very enjoyable! Thank you to everyone for the support and kind words throughout this build, very much appreciated.

Greetings Chris;

..... Everything, ...... everybody, said X 3 = Outstanding .........   doggyh10.gif

May have taken a year to build, but, it is one in a lifetime. I think it is still the best Mosquito that I have seen, and I will be bold enough to

say....... " It is going to be awhile before we will see another to compete with it ".

Very nicely done, indeed ......... salute10.gif .... mike10.gif .... picn10.gif

Chris, I've said it before but this is definitely the very best Mosquito I've seen yet, staggeringly good work and superb painting techniques.  Bravo!  You must be very proud.
