  1. That looks like a tricky fix, and I don't have a lot of luck with clear parts. Cheers Dennis
  2. Hope it was a grand day Cheers Dennis
  3. Hope the surgery goes well, it's scary stuff, I have only one good eye and have just finished getting rid of cataracts in both eyes. It was scary when they did the good eye but it turned out well, apart from now having great distance vision but poor close up vision which means I have to now wear glasses for reading and of course model building, it's quite a change. Cheers Dennis
  4. Coming along nicely Peter, it will be great to see paint. Cheers Dennis
  5. Those figures certainly look good but challenging to paint. Cheers Dennis
  6. Looks great, a million miles better than the Maquette Valentines (IV and XI) I built many moons ago, I used AM from Acurate Armour to detail those, tracks and a turret if I remember correctly. Cheers Dennis
  7. What an impressive looking finish, likes it. Cheers Dennis
  8. Well spotted and fixed in time, one for us all to take note of. Cheers Dennis
  9. Looks like this is coming together nicely, glad you said thet if you could build a PCM Hurricane you can build this kit as I'm on my 3rd PCM kit and one of them was the fabric winged version ! And I have a Helldiver in the stash. Cheers Dennis
  10. Sad news indeed, the Queen is the only monarch that I and many others have known so she will be hugely missed RIP
  11. This has been keeping me busy, 1977 SOHC Honda CB750F2 Cheers Dennis
  12. Nice to see that shape appearing, looks great Cheers Dennis
  13. Keep it up Peter it will be worth it. Cheers Dennis
  14. The Mighty Stirling the RAF's first 4 engined "heavy" sadly neglected in anything but 1/72 scale. I loved my Airfix kit but in those days I was that small it probably felt like 1/32 scale does to me today. Will be great to see this one progress. Cheers Dennis
  15. What an amazing photograph, love it. Cheers Dennis
  16. That looks great and a nice idea using the Tamiya parts, the finished model certainly looks like a very powerful aircraft. Cheers Dennis
  17. That cockpit looks crisp and neat, really nice work, the seatbelts do look fine but a bit simplified I might try the Airscale Sutton ones when I build mine. Cheers Dennis
  18. Looks great, I have always wanted to build a 1/48 scale Lancaster, it was one of the things that got me back in the holbby in the 1980's but my collection of Tamiya Lancasters and conversions are still in the loft Maybe one day I can acheive what you have. Cheers Dennis
  19. Hi Peter, another photo, the seat cushion does seem to be of a canvas type material from the photos, so a light or medium tan may be appropriate, I have just had a look through my books but cannot find any more information, though I have discovered that I have a 2014 and a 2021 issue of the same book, the Valiant Airframe Album 4. Cheers Dennis
  20. These may help Cheers Dennis
  21. Crikey, I waited years for this one so will follow along on this trip. Cheers Dennis
  22. That is really impressive in every way, size, build, paint and markings, nice build. Cheers Dennis
  23. That looks every inch a Spitfire, a tremendous job done well. And a Whirlwind on the way, one of my favourite subjects, I've waited years for someone to fetch out a 1/32 scale kit, in desperation I even built the 1/48 Classic Airframes Whirlwind but it did not do much to scratch the itch. Cheers Dennis
  24. All the best, have a great day Cheers Dennis
  25. Nice one, I've heard good things about that kit which is nice as I have one in the stash. Cheers Dennis
