Made a last run to Yokohama to stock up on Gunze supplies before I move back to the USA, about $150 worth of Mr. Color paint and assorted goodies. I've been eye-balling the 1/32 Tamiya F-4C for forever and with only a 6050 yen price tag I finally pulled the trigger. Have to do Colonel Olds' SCAT XXVII. Also a something a little different, 1/72 Dougram Bigfoot that I'll do as Battletech universe Battlemaster, been wanting this one for a long time.

Nice one, Jimbo! Waiting for this one to show up on Amazon to add it to the stash. -
Thanks, Cees! Moving really is a crappy experience, looking forward to getting settled in California!

Rick, I will probably be there sooner or later for a work trip, will look you up for sure!

It is Jimbo, last move until I retire. Need to spend some time with the family. My plan is to go back to San Diego for five years or so and then retire in the Philippines.

Thanks, Steve! Fortunately no quarantine for the Shibu.

Well, the movers came and packed everything up in anticipation of the move back to the US on the 26th. They were quite amused to see the stash, you know that look that non-modelers give you "how are you ever going to build all those things?" The built kits are still at the house I ordered a roll of foam from Amazon a month a ago to pack them up and the foam didn't arrive. I still have one express shipment leaving on the 22nd so I'll need to have them packed up by then and keep my fingers crossed that they survive without too much damage. So no modeling until January, a little bummed because I was kind of back in the groove and getting my mojo back, but c'est la vie. Will probably be relegated back to the garage for a work area, but that's OK because I'm not real good about keeping the work area neat and I'm just stoked that I'll actually have a garage again!

Excellent build and display, Danny. Love it! -
That really is gorgeous. I've read that the kit has some accuracy issues but 99% of us (me included) would never know them. Well done, sir!

Gorgeous work your Royal Baldness! -
I've built three Revell 109s and while not perfect by any means I'd disagree with the "crap" assessment. Haven't built the 190 yet but from what I've seen it's a decent kit and a reasonable starting point.
