  1. Christmas came early today. Revell Typhoon intended fort the beaches to Berlin group build, and the new Spitfire IIa. Cheers Cees
  2. Hi GP, Welcome to the forums. Sorry to read about your loss. What a great idea to raise funds For charity. Good luck with this build. Will be following this for sure. Cheers Cees
  3. It's out! Just got back from the aviation megastore and they had a nice stack of the Spit. At 24,95 euro's a bargain. Upon a swift inspection the instrument panels looks to be corrected. Personally I consider the rivets not a problem. Strangely there are some proud panels on the Wing top and underside surfaces. Have they measured P7350 by any chance? That had same repairpatches. Edgar? Cheers Cees
  4. Jeroen, Yeah, fitting a plastic spar made sure the centre section stays horizontal. Cees
  5. Now that the Tempest is finished and the Revell Typhoon hasn't arrived yet, I will take this one from the shelf of doom. I had mucked up the vacform canopies and so far a new set Hasn't been found. In the meantime I will start with the rocket blast shields. Pics later when some Progress has been achieved. Cheers Cees
  6. I read somewhere that it will be available early july. Cees
  7. Jim,Don't know, the Mk II I always liked. We'll see. Perhaps we can do a similar review as this one To compare. Cees
  8. Thanks Ralph, Actually the Revell Typhoon is next in line. Always wanted the classic Hawker trio Sea Fury, Tempest And Typhoon. I have two out of three now. Perhaps the Hurricane should join them too. Cheers Cees
  9. Hi all, Here is the completed Tempest which as a sample was reviewed by Jeroen Peters and me Here on LSM ( and LSP) Last year. Although a great kit, it gave me fits sometimes because of il- fitting Parts such as the cockpit and the canopy. Nothing that couldn't be solved though. The result is a very good representation of Hawkers finest. Apart from the wheels, which were replaced By Barracuda items, the kit was built from the box. You can find the work in progress here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/1271-pcm-hawker-tempest-v/ Hope you like it. I know I do. Cheers Cees
  10. I call it done. More pics in the completed builds section. Hope you like it, I certainly do. Cees

  14. Erik, The Sabre finally was developed into a reasonably reliable engine, although it Had a short hour to overhaul ratio. Cees
  15. And it was only the core engine. The top, rear and front are missing. Fantastic technology. Cees
  16. Saw it up close today and looks really good. The tailpipe is very impressive. Cees
  17. Barracuda now provides a resin set for the small bulge. Cees
  18. Very nice. That hose is really something and gives "life" to the subject. Nice review Jeroen. Cees
  19. Nope, guess again. Look at the tyre profile. Sorry for the delay in answering. Got back today from a short holiday on the Beautiful Frisian island of Terschelling. The museum at Fort Veldhuis displays the result of many recoveries over the Last 25 years. The aim is to locate missing aircrew and make sure they are given A decent burial. Anyone spot the Dornier bits? Cheers Cees
