    OK so here we are again all the flying surfaces are on as is another 100g of weight in the nacelles and i still can't get over the size

    I've done it twice now the first was a swinging wingtip from airfixes 1/24 hurricane and the second last weekend with the UHU been lucky twice so far

    I'm just reading Hugh dundas book flying start. And both 609 and 610 were at Rochford for a while. He said all the squadron pilots went to a car spares shop in Southend and bought up all the mirrors so they could be fitted to their spitfires
