  2. Ah! Mr V !! What a great start ... I love this subject and you're already doing it proud!!! Gimme a shout if you need anything !
  3. I reckon I was 9 or 10 and remember each weekend walking to "Toys, Toys, Toys" on Finchley High Road, weekly pocket money firmly clenched in my hand and just spending hours picking out the model I wanted from the rack of 2/6d plastic bagged Airfix kits in 1:72nd - I'm not certain but I think the first was a Spitfire. It snowballed from there, until we emigrated to Africa and until I returned in 1980. Hmm, some great memories .... "Toys, Toys, Toys" seemed HUGE in those days and it carried everything a kid could want I wonder what happened to it Good topic Guy!
  4. Well, well, well !! This is an excellent start (even for an Old Felstedian ) I'm definitely going to watch this Guy, you've got a great subject going and with plenty of talent to make it into a superb model. If I can do anything to help then, you know, you only need to ask. Keep it up!!
  5. Ah! That's glorious!! What a fantastic product Jim and thanks for a 1st class review. Oh, you're a lucky man any one would think it was your birthday recently ... Oh wait! It was
  6. Hi Danny, Great to see your modelling room and, wow, so organised! I can't wait to see what you do with your Roland model but somehow, judging by what I can see here, I reckon it's going to be superb. I sincerely hope that you enjoy LSM, it looks like your right at home already! Cheers!

  14. Dear All, I'm delighted to say that the HGW Seat Belts that were requested by PM to me are in today's post (except yours Jonathan, I just need your address and yours will be on it's way too, please PM or email me at grant@arrow-wolf.com. Thanks!) <----- Done ! The delay in getting these to you was as a result of HGW's parcel, although correctly addressed to me in the UK, being shipped by the Czech Post Office to the USA! It bounced around there for a while before eventually being delivered to me. I apologise profusely for this delay and hope it hasn't caused too much trouble. I hope you will join me in thanking HGW for generously supplying their superb products to the Eindecker Group Build!! Grant
  15. Don't clap !! Throw money
  16. Or dance with "Arrow Wolves" either! I agree with Jeroen, I said it earlier but wow, it really is sweet!
  17. Wow, anyone would suspect you quite like 104's Erik! Cracking review by the way .. great job.
  18. You got a POCHER???? Fantastic !! I've always wanted one and I drooled over a Type 35 Bugatti about 30 years ago and am still kicking myself for not stretching myself financially and buying it.
  19. That's a great link Francisco - thanks for that, I can sit and look at it for hours! Aside from what it was designed to do, that gun was an unbelievable engineering achievement IMHO, and more fascinating because of it.
  20. Fantastic Nige! I'd love to see one of these built - and in the flesh too. It's a phenomenal piece of manufacturing work and I looked into these a while back; I gathered together some photos from the net and this one was one that really showed its size against a standard 1/35th piece of armour !! I'm sure I had a picture of a completed Dora as part of a HUGE diorama in Germany ... It looked VAST against a sea of other 1/35th vehicles and figures. I just can't find the photo and it's sooo frustrating ! It's an incredible bit of model manufacturing in my opinion - a very brave decision. PS:.... FOUND IT !!!
  21. I with Francisco on this ... I'd never heard of them before but, WOW!, is my interest piqued now. Mark, thank you so much for bringing this along .. it looks absolutely gorgeous and I'm looking forward to this BIG time.
  22. Another one and how cool are those jackets??? It's great to see you here SD especially with your B-17 AND scratch building skills - the IP is an amazing piece of work sir! (great tip about the micro-scope slide cover, I can imagine a rush to the local science department or suppliers all over the globe now!) Waiting for more please .... PS:- OK guys, name your favourite jacket from the above .. for me, its "Moonlight Serenade"
  23. This is astonishing !! What an amazing project! OK, budge up on the sofa, make way for a small one, I want to watch this....
