Kai Brilliant progress. Completely agree Italeri has done a very commendable job on the ejection seats, adding youR details and they look perfect. Nice work on the figures who both look at home in the office. Easy to see why so much time was needed to do all the cabling and so well worth the work. Keep ‘em comin Peter -
Thanks Kai. Took a while to figure out a plan that I would be happy with and after ordering the FOD covers, I licked my wounds, back to the bench and making progress again. Nice to be making progress again and getting close to priming and the paint shop. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Thanks Gaz Misery loves company😮 Sorry to read about the decal problem and glad you were able to correct it. I’ve gone back to my old system now of checking off each step as I complete it in the instructions and double checking the instructions to help make sure I haven’t missed anything before Committing to glue. See how this goes. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Rob Nice progress on your F4; especially on the lower exhaust area. I’ll be taking notes on how you apply the weathering and finish. Keep ‘em comin Peter- 177 replies

John Agreed and maybe Trumpter should mark the kit box as to A & B Team and price the kit accordingly. Keep ‘em comin Peter

For you NMF painters... ( you know who you are) SMS Hyperchrome
Peterpools replied to GazzaS's topic in Modelling Discussion
I’m still not so sure what the issue is on masking over Alclad or AK .... I do it all the time and almost never have had any of the NMF lift or stain. If some does lift, it was the base and primer that lifted off the plastic. I’m careful to only mask with de-tacked Tamiya tape and care needs to be used when removing the tape: never pull the tape straight up or even up but rather back on itself. Of course when I mask over my P-51, the gremlins might just bite. Keep ‘em comin Peter -
Phil and Carl Ni e kits for sure ... enjoy Keep ‘em comin Peter

What is on your bench right now ? Share a picture :)
Peterpools replied to Martinnfb's topic in Modelling Discussion
Gaz nice start on the 48th scale figures ... the smaller they are, I guess the harder it becomes to do the faces and facial features. For my eyes, they are looking good. Keep ‘em comin Peter -

Carl Nice going and a great save. Thanks for pointing out not to use X20A over yogic paints - knowing me, I would have figured it out after the fact. Keep ‘em comin Peter -
People lurk and surf ... just how it is. I confess to lurking on a few forums on a semi regular basis but no erg to join. I’m not sure sure what the real difference is between lurkers and members who who just “lurk”. For me a member, is a person (not necessarily a modeler) but someone who leaves a comment on a build or discussion thread for others to read and think about. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Ernie I’m late to the party as always ... Merry Christmas my friend. Terrible news to read you are flat on your back and sick as a dog. Fingers crossed it’s not COVID - did you have a COVID test to be on the safe and sure side. Get Well Soon Peter
