  1. I was surfing the net a while ago and found this update/news on LSP: Trumpeter 2022: 1/32 Douglas Devastator TBD-1 # 02226 again. This has to be a record for listing a kit for who knows how many years and it has never been released. If it ever sees the light of day, I'm in for one. Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. The Old man's blog is jammed packed with good, positive and welcome news. I'm eagerly waiting the release of both the 109 and 190 and will most likely pre-order the 109 from Volks which will include a figure of Eric Hartmann. 2022 is looking like a banner year for large scale modelers - much appreciation and thanks to the 'Old man' for his update. https://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/oyajiblog_114.html Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Mike WOW, awesome progress and what a build. Glad to see you're close to rolling your Wildcat across the finish line. Wish I could offer an answer of just going beyond guessing: wood for the same reasons as the flight deck. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. The second run of the Viggen is now listed as "Out of Production" and I'm assuming that means it's al;so sold out. I'll be darned. Nice way for Jetmad to break into the limited production kit world! Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Martin Now that's a major fix that Harv has to do - I wonder why the manufacturer used the wrong window orientation: portrait when it should have been landscape in photographic terms? Keep 'em comin Peter
  6. Holy Smokes I never knew and what an eye opener! I've heard in some plastic aircraft kits (wish I could remember whose) the plastic rejected Extra Thin and our normal glues. Why in the world do manufacturers produce kits with known defects or assembly issues. They should be required to list such issues on the box. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. CArl Way to go! Your Revell Spit looks perfect. Thanks for posting the photo Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Craig Amazing progress as always and she sure is looking the part. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Thanks Carl Love to see a few pics of your Spit Vb. I've been to the Barracuda Web Site and did spy those juicy Spit upgrades and will be ordering a few from Sprue Bros. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Starting to appreciate the new Revell 32nd scale kits and getting fired up to try my hand at building their Spitfire Mk11a with a Quinta Interior Detail set. Product photos from Sprue Bros web site
  11. Very handy indeed. I have two AB holders - not sure whose I bought (it’s been that long) and they work very well. Enjoy Keep ‘em comin Peter
  12. Gaz now that’s. Great story - enjoy the Wirbelwind Keep ‘em comin Peter
  13. Carl So glad you're feeling better. I had terrible lower back pains for more years then I can remember and feel your pain. I've been very fortunate that the past nearly twenty years now except for short episodes, I no longer have to deal with lower back pain. Sure must feel good to be able to sit at the bench and not have to deal with back pain. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Harv Nice going - step one of your mission looks A-OK. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. John Your Spit is looking fantastic - cammo and decals work is spot on and and looks so good. You're putting me to shame as I'm still in the filler and sanding stages - going slow but getting there. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Rob Way to go, your stash is looking mighty good with all these new additions. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Phil No question - you made the right choice - it's hard to stay home but protecting your wife, the family and yourself is the most important. Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Rob Thank goodness for credit cards and some awesome buys for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Holy Smokes ... just love the masking and of course, the countless hours masking devours before the actual paint. Gus .. some mighty nice rusty old weathering for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Gaz Yikes, that sure is a lot of shades of color but it worked very well. On the images I can also see the dot filters, which work so very well. Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Gaz Thank you for the close ups on painting the faces ... absolutely your gentle touch worked very well. The light weathering on the Marder looks very effective and when I look closely, I can see the dot filters. My kind of weathering for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Mark Right with Rob and looking so good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Rob Now that's a plan and I'm already front and center in the first row Keep 'em comin Peter
