  1. Martin Could it be the start of a Sea Fury? Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. Martin I can feel it in my bones, you're so right. Funny as it sounds, while I like a few aircraft to have their engines hanging in the wind, I much prefer the sleek lines of the aircraft in the display case with their cowls buttoned up. Out of seven tamiya Mustangs and Spitfires, only two have their beautiful Merlin engines colw panels off. Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Kent Awesome rivet work - looks absolutely perfect. And of course, nice going on the filler and sanding - what would a build be without it😉 Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Jeroen Nice to have you back at the bench and working away. The gun bay preshading does look good Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Very nice progress and looking very good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  6. Thanks Kai Hope it helps anyone using Eduard's new decals and knowing what to expect. Keep 'em comin Peter
  7. Thanks Kent It was my pleasure to sure what I discovered and it also was fun in it's own way Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Mike So glad to do the test and share the results with everyone. I've learned so much from all the guys, it was a pleasure to 'give back' something of value. Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Phil Glad I could pass a long what I learned and for my money, it seems as if Eduard has a good thing going with their new decals. See what happens on the Mustang. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Hubert It's been a long week with doctor appointments and normal house hold things and of course, what modeling time I had, I was learning the ins and outs of the new Eduard decals. Looking forward to hitting the bench and the P-51 tomorrow Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Carl Nice progress and the interior assemblies have come together quite nicely. Terrific progress on the Big Guy Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Kai It's all your fault - I've been front and center and consuming untold boxes of pop corn and snacks waiting for the build to begin🥨 Work does come first and it's now the weekend. I'm front and center Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Phil When you have bench time, you'll be digging in. Life just always seems to have a way of cutting to the front of the line. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Gaz Terrific planning and the dio layout is perfect for portraying your story. Your figures look fantastic and completely agree, they just keep getting better and better. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. John Nice start on the Sherman and completely agree with carl, the cast metal look on the turret looks mighty good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. John I know exactly what you mean - fingers crossed the mask set works. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. John I've pretty much done the same and am in shock at the insane prices being asked for models. I only use ebay now for buying a piece of AM when I can't find it anywhere else. What it once was, surely isn't any more. Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Carl Nice going on finding ways to add the needed weight. Sure seems as if one of the biggest challenges of the kit, is solving the weight issue. Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. John Going to be an epic build for sure. Not only am I front and center, I have a load of takeout food to be delivered so I won't miss a thing.🥨 Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Guys Just love those BIG stars with the red center Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. John Holy Cow, awesome build for sure. Perfect weathering Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Phil Good choice for your next build and nothing as good as a Wildcat with all the PE to boot. Any thoughts on markings and no need to worry about dealing with the folding wings on this version, as they were fixed. Will be in the front row all the way Keep 'em comin Peter .
  23. Carl Sure wish they would have included a molded nose weight with the kit as some manufacturers do and make life easier for the modeler. Just seems they added a lot of extra work when it could have been avoided. Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Thanks Carl ... glad my test will help out. Seems there is always a curveball in the mix. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Carl Thanks for the followup on how you and the pup are doing ... just so glad you are feeling better and have a follow up appointment. Nice progress on the Liberator - bombs and look great on the racks and the gear looks awesome as well. Worrying about her being a tail sitter is a lot of pressure on the builder and not sure if the correct amount of weight has been discussed or listed anywhere. Keep 'em comin Peter
