  1. Phil I've seen them home made from blocks of wood - anything with a bit of weight and wide enough will work just fine.
  2. OOPS, almost a double post.
  3. Rob Looks perfect for the job at hand.
  4. Scott Looking mighty good and almost not enough paint in a full bottle for the He 111 .. I'm sure you were stretching the end of the jar as far as it could go. 😉
  5. Andy Welcome aboard; both to the forum and the GB. Nice choice for the GB and as with Scott, will be following.
  6. John Amazing progress and a beauty in the making. I
  7. Phil, they are one of those modeling accessories we never think about and are so useful.
  8. Gus Yikes, seems to be a drawback of 3D printing on the flat. Fingers crossed the cleanup works like a charm.
  9. Brother Bear Absolutely a brilliant build and my apologies for not posting before. 🏆
  10. Rob Glad your rigging arrived for your WNW GB build. Tat quite a unique collection of kits but my eye was on the Tamiya P-47 Razorback Jug.
  11. Carl Going to be a great build and thread to follow. Scale hobbyist has all three in stock for $75.29 plus shipping.
  12. Rob Amazing progress and just so many issues to deal with - glad you are sorting them all out, one by one. I'm surprised that they were bent struts in a WNW kit - was it molded that way or some heat over the years took its toll as they seem to be very delicate? Decaling work is extraordinary and perfectly done. 🏆
  13. Chris Awesome progress and glad you have the office sorted out. Normally I go with the Quinta set made for the kit and don't expect them to be 100% accurate. For me it's the overall look and feel that's important and in my book, you have greatly passed that point. Just keep going at your own pace and everything will fall into place - seam lines just always creep into any build, even Tamiya as I had a few small ones on the Tomcat as well.
  14. Ralph Looking mighty good and the color now looks spot on - perfect.
  15. Phil Awesome progress and you're absolutely in the home stretch. I started using the 3D bottle holders for both Tamiya glues and Micro Decal solutions and since then, haven't knocked over a single bottle - highly recommended and they are more then worth the cost is just saving spilled solutions and glue all over the bench.
  16. 🎂
  17. Mark Nothing as cool as a unique build subject and looking forward to following.
  18. Gus Looking forward to the cammo work and have my front row seat. I've been using MRP paints for years and zero issues. I shoot them straight from the bottle with any of my air brushes with tip sizes from .2-.5 and always goes on smooth as silk.
  19. Oliver Looking mighty good.
  20. Chris Interior USAF and Navy jets: FS36231. Almost all the paint companies carry the color.
  21. Gus Terrific progress and some mighty fine work in overcoming all the obstacles. Yup, the cammo pattern is surely going to be time consuming but my money is riding on you to pull it off without any issues at all.
  22. Chris Looking simple awesome. Nothing like Quinta to bring the front office up to a whole new level of detail.
  23. Carl Nice progress for sure. I would have also guessed the antenna would have been harder to install then the canopy ... go figure. In either case, they look superb.
  24. Carl Nice progress and there are a few fit issues that under your eye and hand, will surely be history.
