  1. Thanks Chris, I was surprised of well the straight Model Air Aluminium shot, I did thin it and laid multiple coats. I’m pleased with the alignments but did get the engine centre line a tad off but not dramatically, I see it anyway…..the canopy was scary but pleased with the outcome. Never knew about the blue! Oh well………
  2. Thanks Martin, I do enjoy a challenge……
  3. Sneak peek, it’s getting there…….the Alu finish is just straight Model Air Aluminium, not even their metals range……..
  4. Thanks Gus / Peter, I didn’t want to go and buy another thinner just for one jar of Tamiya Lacquer 🙄should have engaged brain……….anything else I can use ?
  5. With the Tamiya Gloss Black lacquer are you limited to Tamiya Lacquer thinners, I do not any Mr Colour etc etc….?

  19. Rob, just catching up, I need to retire so I can keep up with you guys……the AEG is looking amazing, great shame a lot of the cockpit is hidden. I reckon I’m going to start to forego AM cockpits if they are buried deep in fuselages. Looking forward to the wings etc…
  20. I know nothing about warhammer, so interesting to see how this progresses…
  21. Thanks for sharing, hope you both had a fun day out……
  22. Chris my first H&S was their Ultra, basic but solid performer. The new CR Plus has the adjustable tension and the dial needle throw adjustment, the do taking getting used but wow are they brilliant, I got the 0.15 / 0.4 combination which is perfect. The Ultra is relegated to varnish work now.
  23. The mud looks very gluttonous…….stunning
